These zodiac signs just can't turn their brains off.

Not every zodiac sign is prone to thoughts that won't stop, but the ones who are just can't help it. They obviously don't do it on purpose, but we should definitely give them the benefit of the doubt either way.
Those of us who overthink everything can never seem to shut our brains off completely. Even when we manage to NOT overthink everything, our minds are still working a lot more than others' minds.
And those of us who find ourselves overthinking everything know that it's not just having our minds race with thoughts at all times of the day and night. Overthinking can lead to feeling of anxiety, second-guessing ourselves, feeling overwhelmed, and more.
It's like, no matter how hard we try to not let ourselves overthink things or try to turn our racing thoughts into something positive, we're not really doing anything different. We're just more self-aware when we start thinking about how overthinking makes us feel.
I know I overthink a lot of things, even when I try to shut my brain off. And forget about falling asleep within a reasonable amount of time – I am always trying to tell my brain to shut up so that I can sleep, but to no avail.
I know that people who think too much can relate. If you've ever felt incredibly exhausted after a day – whether you were physically active or not – it could be your overactive mind. You can definitely be mentally exhausted after thinking and overthinking things.
If you find yourself doing more planning than acting, get nervous about the prospect of being completely happy or satisfied with a decision, or feel insecure and need reassurance about pretty much everything, you're most likely an overthinker.
We know we can be a bit much, especially when we ask for reassurance and validation a hundred times, but for us, this is just how our brains work. Hey, it always makes me feel better that I'm on the right path with my decisions, even if it still makes me a little nervous every so often.
If you can't shut your brain off, knowing that you at least have people in your life who can reassure you when you can't do it yourself is important.
Here are the four zodiac signs who are overthinkers, according to astrology.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini's mind is constantly racing. At any given time of the day, she is dealing with hundreds of thoughts. Some are important, some are not, but the point is – you can always guarantee Gemini will be thinking (and overthinking) about something.
Gemini is very restless, and not just when it comes to her interests and attention span. The reason Gemini horoscopes overthink so often is because her mind is constantly bouncing from one thing to the next before bouncing back to whatever she was originally thinking about. It's exhausting in her mind.
2. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo's need for perfection is what drives her overthinking. She's never satisfied with the first draft – she always believes that there is room for improvement, no matter what it is she's working on. While this can be admirable, it can also be a little too much.
Virgo can't help overthinking because she's constantly in her head. She wonders if she's made the right decision or if she needs to rethink something, which is just an exhausting amount of brainpower. Virgo needs a vacation from her mind because ALL she does is overthink.
3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn's drive and motivation to succeed is the reason she's always overthinking. She never wants to look back on life and feel like she could have done more or been something better than she was. For that reason, she's always wondering if she missed anything important.
Whenever she starts a new project or wraps up an old one, she goes over every little detail in her mind and asks herself if she's satisfied with her work. If she doesn't do this, you can bet she'll be thinking about how she could have done differently, which is something no one needs to deal with.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is one of the more logical zodiac signs – meaning she favors using her brain over her heart – which leads her to overthink things a lot. So much so, in fact, that overthinking can take over her life.
Because she's a logical zodiac sign, Aquarius tends to analyze pretty much everything. Analyzing things is how Aquarius makes sense of life, but it also means she's constantly turning things over in her mind until they don't mean anything anymore. Whew, maybe take a break, Aquarius.
