Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, 30 and former Bachelorette contestant Jason Tartick, 30, revealed they are dating on The Today Show. Tartick told Today host Hoda Kotb that the pair has been dating for “a month or so."
“I was gonna use my podcast to break the news, but I guess the Today show beat me to it," Bristowe said.
Bristowe has her own podcast called “Off The Vine,” which is where E!News reports that the pair met. However, back then Tartick said they had become friends but nothing more.
The Bachelorette was season 11’s main figure while Tartick appeared as a contestant on season 14 with Bachelorette Becca Kufrin.
Back in November 2018, Bristowe announced the end of her engagement to Shawn Booth from her season on The Bachelorette.
The couple was engaged for three years and at the beginning of the wedding planning process. Booth, 31, is reportedly very hurt by how fast Bristowe was able to move on from him.
“I think just with her moving on so quick, I just have a tough time understanding why she would be putting this out everywhere or blasting it all over the place knowing that it could hurt," he told Cosmopolitan.
According to Page Six Tartick and Bristowe’s first date took place in Denver after they both showed off their time together on their Instagram Stories.
On a Jan. 8 Bristowe interviewed Tartick on her podcast, and in the episode, she teased him by saying: “Jason, are you finally going to ask me on a date?”
"If we are ever in the same city,” he replied. Tartick later confesses that his heart was "racing” according to People. She discussed her in "budding romance" with him in a Jan. 17 episode. A few days later, she uploaded a new podcast guest starring Tartick again.
