1. She was crowned Miss Alabama 2018.

In November 2017, she was crowned Miss Alabama and went on to run for Miss USA, but lost the title.

She got into pageants as a young teenager. Early on in her career, Brown was "first runner-up in Miss Alabama Outstanding Teen, followed by second runner-up in Miss Alabama Teen USA. However, as she entered the Miss Alabama system, Brown failed to make the top 15 four years in a row,” according to Alabama News Center

Brown told Access that she would deal with drama among her fellow contestants by “killing ’em with kindness."

"I don’t want to say one bad word about another girl, and unfortunately, not everybody will take that same approach," she said.

Caelynn Miller-Keyes — fellow Bachelor contestant and Miss North Carolina 2018 — shared a room with Brown during their run at Miss USA. The pair grew to not like each other reportedly after Miller-Keyes won the first runner up in the Miss USA pageant and Brown didn’t place. Miller- Keyes told Pop Sugar that “with Hannah, there's a facade, and then it starts to crumble."

"Hannah kind of snapped. She flipped a switch and being in this competition together again could raise some more red flags."

Brown broke down her way of managing with drama and told Pop Sugar that she “definitely has more insight to, like, what type of person she is. Like, she's fake.”

4. She has struggled with depression.

Throughout her college pageant days, Brown suffered from depression and took a break from competing.

“I took the wrong outlook on what pageantry should be — I thought my self-worth was through recognition,” E! News reported.

5. She is okay with making fun of her self.

On last week’s episode of "The Bachelor," Brown was the first contestant to get a one-on-one date with Underwood and it was a very awkward start, to say the least.

Underwood is well known to be a virgin and Brown revealed to him, after failing to get close to him earlier in the date and, that she was not a virgin yet felt insecure about it due to pressure from her devotion to Christianity. After failing to make a toast she took to Instagram to write that she will “forever be triggered” from hearing the words “let’s make a toast."
