The Masked Singer Spoilers: Who Is The Bee?

The Masked Singer spoilers! Tonight is the night for a new episode of The Masked Singer, a celebrity talent competition on Fox. The twist on this show is that everyone performs with their faces hidden by elaborate masks. Well, elaborate costumes. The performers all look like wild sports mascots who can sing.

A panel of four judges, consisting of Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke, all watch the performances and have to guess the identities of the singer. They’re working off performance styles and clues the each singer drops about their personality and career.

So far, five singers have been unmasked so far. Judges thought they were going to see Shaqille O’Neill when the Hippo’s mask came off but it was Steeler’s receiver Antonio Brown instead. When it came time for the Pineapple to show his face, the popular guess was Jim Carrey. But Carrey’s ex Jenny McCarhy knew better: she figured out that it was Tommy Chong on stage.

For the Deer, at first, the judges had mixed guesses, until Robin noticed how the Deer laughed with his shoulders saying how it was very specific to Terry Bradshaw's laughing style — which he ended up guessing correctly. When it was the Poodle's turn to unmask itself, the judges were all way off guessing from Kathy Griffin to Jillian Michaels. But they discovered it was Margret Cho.

And last week, Ken Jeong correctly guessed that the Unicorn was none other than Beverly Hills 90210 alum Tori Spelling.

Who is the Bee on The Masked SingerWe don’t know who will be revealed next but fans are already making guesses. In the mean time, check out our guesses for the Rabbit, the Unicorn, the Alien, and the Raven.

1. Clues

The Bee’s clue video starts with music with a distinct Motown vibe and she refers to her long career, saying she wants to sing to a new generation. She also says, "You can call me Queen Bee, but 'Empress' also suits me,” suggesting she had a royal nickname at some point in her career.

In episode four, she tells us how much fun she is having and how it's a challenge because of her inability to see others since she is used to seeing people's faces as she performs. She finds it scary since she is singing modern music.

In the background, there is a peach that is split in half and splashed in water. The Bee tells us that she is not always up to date with the latest fads.

2. Judge guesses

The judges all believe the Bee is already a famous singer. Robin Thicke ventured a guess that it’s Diana Ross. Jenny McCarthy was a little more new school in her ideas, saying possibly Lil Kim or Mary J. Blige. Nicole Scherzinger mentioned Dionne Warwick as a possibilty.

After her latest performance, all the judges agree that this is a seasoned singer. Both Jenny and Robin believe it's Gladys Knight with her vibrato. Ken, however, believes it could be a Supreme member like Diana Ross.

3. Other guesses

The internet theories are all different Motown legends, with fans wondering if the Bee is Tina Turner, Patti LaBelle, or Gloria Gaynor.

4. Best guess

There’s no getting around the fact that the only Empress of Soul is Gladys Knight. That clue seems like too big a hint to ignore, and the singing style certainly sounds like the smooth and soulful style Knight is known for.

Do you think the Bee is Gladys Knight?
