It's unclear whether it's a real tattoo, temporary, or even just photoshopped on, but it certainly had fans talking.

One fan even suggested the image was a heart stamp and not a tattoo.

Either way, if Taylor Swift actually did get a face tattoo, it's a great look on the pop star.

It would make sense for Taylor to get the tattoo in celebration of her good news. Hollywood Life reports that Taylor's contract is a big deal in the music industry because it changes how artists are paid for streaming services like Spotify.

“There was one condition that meant more to me than any other deal point. As part of my new contract with Universal Music Group, I asked that any sale of their Spotify shares result in a distribution of money to their artists, non-recoupable. They have generously agreed to this, at what they believe will be much better terms than paid out previously by other major labels.”

Taylor has been with record label Big Machine since she first broke out onto the music scene back in 2006. She is now moving to Republic Records and Universal Music Group.

“I’m ecstatic to announce that my musical home will be Republic Records and Universal Music Group. Over the years, Sir Lucian Grainge and Monte Lipman have been such incredible partners. It’s so thrilling to me that they, and the UMG team, will be my label family moving forward. It’s also incredibly exciting to know that I’ll own all of my master recordings that I make from now on.”

The singer is currently on the Reputation Stadium Tour, with performances in Tokyo, Japan scheduled for this week.
