Use these simple tips and tricks to keep him interested.

How do you make sure a guy doesn't get bored of you? This seems to be a recurring question when women want a romantic relationship and we don't blame you for asking it. As it turns out, the answer is quite simple.

Men are known for their short attention spans. They get bored of many things easily, including people, which is why it's important to know how to keep a man interested in you. After all, no one wants to date someone who isn't into them and it's way more fun if he is chasing you.

Whether he's a crush or a boyfriend, you probably want to be the center of his attention. You want to create a bond that lasts and has him wanting more of you, even as time goes on. He'll want to keep you in his life for a long time.

All guys are different, but they share the same common characteristics and primal instincts. The male species as a whole enjoys the chase. Men will put in effort if they want something! But how do you make sure he continues to want you and never loses interest?

Follow these 5 tips to make sure he never gets bored of you.

1. Know your worth.

In order to keep a guy's attention, you need to first believe that you're worth his attention. He's not going to be interested in you if you don't find yourself interesting.

Self confidence plays a huge role in keeping a man interested in pursuing you romantically. Your confidence will be contagious and you'll be someone he feels like he needs to have in his life. Men love confident women because they come across as strong and put together. The love you have for yourself will intrigue him. Knowing your worth will make you stand out among the many insecure, needy women he's dated in the past.

You're deserving of an incredible man and when you start believing that, he'll sense it too. Your strong self worth and confident attitude will make him want to put in effort to be that guy you deserve. When you're happy with who you are, it makes being around you so much easier and enjoyable. He'll want to sweep your confident, beautiful self off your feet and spin you around every time he sees you!

2. Be a little mysterious.

One of the best ways to keep a man interested is to be a little mysterious. Key word: little. If you're too mysterious, he'll start to get bored and give up on trying to get to know you.

The trick is to tell him just enough about yourself that will keep him wanting to know more. Also, try not to share too many details on your day-to-day life. Men don't care about knowing every single thing you're doing. Make him wonder what you're up to.

For example, if you tell him you're heading out now to buy groceries and will text him later, there's no mystery to that. He knows exactly what boring activity you're up to and it won't excite him in any way. Instead, go do your grocery shopping and text him back a few hours later. Say something like, "Sorry just saw your text, I was out!". It's the perfect amount of mystery and more exciting than telling him you were buying groceries. Plus, you're not lying.

3. Don't be needy.

Neediness is a sign of insecurity and a huge turn off for a lot of guys. Men need their space and they certainly don't want to feel suffocated by you. Men value freedom and they think that if they're in a relationship, they'll lose their sense of freedom.

Show him that he still has his freedom by giving him the right amount of space he needs. Don't always be the one calling him or asking to meet up. Make him reach out to you every once in a while, or else he'll stop putting in the effort. He'll just assume you'll always be the one to contact him and he'll stop trying to contact you.

Being needy also makes men feel overwhelmed. He'll feel like you don't have a life outside of the relationship and that puts a lot of pressure on him. Show him this isn't true by doing all the things you enjoyed doing before the relationship. Go out with friends, keep up with your hobbies and spend quality time with your family. If you start busying up your schedule, he'll start asking when he can see you. He'll start feeling like he's a part of your life and not your whole life, which makes you way more interesting!

4. Learn about the things he loves.

When getting to know a guy, ask him about the things he's passionate about. You'll be able to tell he loves something when his face lights up talking about it.

For example, if you're dating a baseball player, ask him about the sport. He'll be so excited to share everything about baseball with you! You don't have to pretend to love something just because he does, but show interest and curiosity in hearing more about it. It's important to date someone who's similar to you, but being similar doesn't mean you have to have the exact same hobbies.

Relationships are also about choosing someone who's capable of teaching you new things. Take the opportunity to learn about what he loves to do. It will show that you care about what he likes and he'll appreciate it a lot. He'll show interest in you because you show interest in him! It's always nice when you're with someone who cares and wants to talk about your favorite topics with you. Pay attention to the things he loves and he just might start associating you with the other things he loves.

5. Be there for him.

Lastly, be his cheerleader and support him. We deal with a lot in our daily lives and it helps to have someone who's always there for you. If you want to keep him interested in you, simply be there for him. Ask him how his presentation in class went or wish him luck at his next football game! Try to remember the things he tells you that others would usually forget about. He will start to take notice and appreciate all the special little things you do to make him happy.

Be the one who's there for him when nobody else is. Try to get him to open up to you and always offer words of encouragement when he's upset. It might take a while, but once he sees you truly care, he'll get attached to you. Build up the trust and be his shoulder to cry on. Once you've made your way into his heart, he'll never want to let go.
