Who is Kelly Rizzo? The 39-year-old wed Bob Saget this weekend, meaning the Fuller House star's own house just got a little fuller!
The comedian and actor, 62, wed girlfriend Rizzo in a beautiful Santa Monica ceremony on Oct. 28. The couple announced their engagement in November of last year. Saget announced the nuptials via Instagram on Monday.
"Okay, so we went and did it. And damn are we happy," the sitcom star captioned a snap of him and his new bride from the ceremony.
So who is the gorgeous new bride? Here's everything you need to know about Kelly Rizzo aka Bob Saget's bride..
1. She's a professional foodie
Rizzo is the host of the streaming series Eat Travel Rock, in which she "goes behind the scenes and off the cuff with master chefs, rockstars, and other creative industry heavyweights, while traveling the world," according to the show's website. She is also a food, travel, and lifestyle expert who has made appearances on national talk shows and regional broadcasts.
2. She's a proud Chicagoan
A Chicago native, Rizzo's food blogging career got its start in the Windy City. Back in 2013, Rizzo called the launch of her new show Food Junkie: Chicago her "dream job," telling Racked Chicago, "It is such a blast to be a part of, and it's definitely different than any other food show out there. It really goes behind the scenes of the Chicago food culture, which is huge these days! It's also very different in that every episode has a different theme or focus."
In the article, Kelly also dished on all the best Chicago food and nightlife hotspots, so she's definitely the person to hit up for recs in if you're planning a visit.
3. She and Saget have been together since 2015
“Bob [Saget] and I met through a mutual friend in early 2015," Rizzo told Michigan Ave Magazine back in 2017. "I don’t really see him as Danny Tanner," she continued. "To me he’s just Bobby, my love.”
4. They got engaged in 2017
The couple announced their engagement in November 2017, just under a year before they tied the knot. Unsurprisingly, Saget popped the question with his signature wit in tow. "When he proposed he got on one knee & said 'I Want to spend whatever years I have left with you,'" Rizzo later revealed in an Instagram post, adding that she "made him rephrase it of course."
5. They had cast-coordinated engagements
Saget and Rizzo announced their engagement just two weeks after fellow Full House alum and immortal smokeshow John Stamos, 54, got engaged to model and actress Caitlin McHugh. Saget later told People the coordinating proposals were unintentional. “John Stamos and I were texting ahead of time,” Saget told the magazine back in 2017. “We are incredibly close, and I knew that he was going to [propose] — sorry, Caitlin! — and he knew that I was going to.”
Both Stamos and McHugh, along with several other Full House alums and current Fuller House co-stars, attended the nuptials on Sunday.
6. She is Saget's second wife
Saget was previously married to Sherri Kramer from 1982 to 1997. According to Saget's 2014 autobiography Dirty Daddy, the two were high school sweethearts who began dating when they were just 17.
7. She gets along great with Saget's daughters
Saget has three children from his previous marriage, twins Aubrey and Lara Melanie and a younger daughter, Jennifer Belle. "Kelly and my daughters love each other, so it really is some magical thing that happened. They just love each other," Saget told Us Weekly.
