When you’re one of the adaptable zodiac signs in astrology, you’re able to go with the flow and change doesn't upset you. You are open to new things and learn quickly, knowing instinctively what to do to fit in when you’re meeting new people, learning about a new lifestyle, or exploring somewhere you’ve never been.
People who are stuck in their ways and have a rigid sense of values tend to not grow as much or as quickly. Adaptable people are open to new ideas and are able to stay relevant. They’re constantly growing and they embrace change.
They’re not thrown when they’re in a circumstance totally unlike anything they’ve experienced before. They are self-aware, intelligent, and enjoy learning and experiencing new things. They don’t feel as if they need to stick to traditional values in order to feel safe — they like being on the cutting edge!
People who go with the flow can compromise and are able to see things from many different points of view. And adaptability doesn't just apply when one is around people. If an adaptable person moves from a cold climate to a hot one, they know what they need to do to adjust. They don’t complain about having to change and get excited about what they’re going to learn and see.
You look for the positives in every situation and you try to find where your skill set will fit in. You know your strengths and when to modify and adjust.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
One of the reasons that Geminis are so adaptable is because they are very curious and are always learning new things. Their curiosity causes them to go out into the world.
They get bored if they're always are doing the same things repeatedly. They need stimulation and excitement. Curiosity facilitates growth and adaptability allows Gemini to keep moving forward.
2. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius stay current — they're up on the events, people, and trends that are happening now. One can't adapt if they don't know what they're adapting to. Sagittarians aren't stuck in the past and they're aware of how their words, tone, and actions have on others.
They listen and adapt to others. You could say that Sagittarians always know their audience and that to communicate with one will not be the same way with another.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius individuals experiment and allow themselves to discover, even if the results weren't what they planned. Aquarius are adaptable, but they never lose who they are at their core.
For them, their adaptability is a survival mechanism. If they found themselves lost in the woods, they would be able to survive by their own instincts and skills, and they would develop the abilities needed on the spot.
4. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries' adaptability is one reason they're extremely resourceful. If their Plan A doesn't work, they'll go to Plan B, and so on. They're able to think on their feet, and they try not to let fear get in their way.
Aries don't give up or whine if something doesn't go their way. The last thing they want is to feel stuck and helpless.
5. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Here's something that Pisces can do that not everybody else can: be open to other people's points of view. Pisces can also be swayed by a good argument and change their mind. They're not so rigid that they have to hang on to an idea even when it's clear that it's faulty and wrong.
Their thinking isn't limited, nor is their adaptability. They're not afraid of change and embrace it.
