Will she have to choose between work and love?

Did Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn break up? Taylor Swift may be heading for another heartbreak. Word on the street is that she and her boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn are hurtling towards some major relationship changes that could spell trouble for the couple. Last year Alwyn seemed ready to pop the question. Why didn't he? Could her busy schedule be causing issues between them? Let's take a look at what we know so far.
1. Taylor's next project
Taylor is set to star in the film adaptation of the long running Broadway musical Cats alongside Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, and Sir Ian McKellen. Filming is set to begin later this year and is expected to take several months. This will take time away from Joe Alwyn. A source told Radar, “This project is going to be demanding and intense and Taylor will have to spend a lot of time throwing herself into the rehearsals and grueling filming schedule.”
2. More intense than a tour
Taylor is a busy girl who is currently on her Reputation world tour but she still has plenty of time for her boyfriend of nearly two years in between concert dates. Cats is likely to be way more intense. The source also told Radar that, "This is going to be unlike anything Joe's known. She won't have time for him like she has in the past."
3. After filming is done
Alwyn is an actor, so he will get Taylor's commitment to the film. However,Cats is likely to be a big budget blockbuster along the lines of Chicago and Les Miserables. Not only will filming take a long time but there will then be a very hectic publicity tour when it 's released. Joe is used to getting a lot of attention from Taylor. With her Cats commitments, she won't be able to lavish that same attention on him, which will be a major change for their relationship.
4. Filming in the U.K.
Cats is scheduled to begin filming this fall in the U.K., which is where Alwyn hails from. Taylor won't be filming 24/7 so chances are the couple will find a way to see each other, much like they have on her current world tour. Alwyn was at the tour opener and during a break from touring this summer, the couple took a trip to Turks and Caicos.
5. Long distance romance
Last fall, a source told People that Taylor and Joe had a plan for how to remain close while she was on her world tour. “When Taylor tours internationally next year, they will figure it out. This is not anything they are stressing about. Their relationship is amazing because they are both committed to making it work. It’s just a very normal and respectful relationship, built on give-and-take. Joe is a gentleman and just a great guy to date. When Joe is filming, Taylor flies to see him as much as she can — most recently in Atlanta.”
