Why Josh Duhamel And Eiza Gonzalez Broke Up (And Rumors She's Headed Back To Her Ex, Liam Hemsworth)

instagram After a few months of dating, Josh Duhamel and Eiza Gonzalez broke up.
The 45-year-old actor and the 28-year-old actress got together in February 2018, which was Duhamel's first relationship since his divorce from Fergie in September 2017. However, they didn't go public with their relationship until June. Sources stated that the couple initially wanted to keep the relationship very private. “Their relationship started out slowly, but lately, they are spending more time together. They seem very happy,” the source said at the time. The pair even vacationed together during the July 4th holiday in Mexico.
However, when the actor was seen leaving the gym last night, he reportedly told photographers that he and his actress girlfriend were "done." A source has since reported that the cause of the break up was the couple's busy careers. “Their work schedules were tough on the relationship,” the source told PEOPLE.
Conflicting careers aside, there are other factors that could be taken into consideration as the reason for the split. According to a blind item published by celebrity gossip site Crazy Days & Nights, Gonzalez may have been looking to get more serious with Duhamel throughout their relationship. However, according to the author of the site, who goes by Enty, the actor wasn't interested in taking things any further.
Interestingly, that's not where the breakup ends.
Duhamel isn't the first famous beau Gonzalez has been linked to. In 2013, the actress was involved with Liam Hemsworth. Gonzalez was seen kissing Hemsworth only a day after he and Miley Cyrus had ended their engagement.

To make Duhamel and Gonzalez's breakup more gossip-worthy, Miley and Liam are also reportedly in the midst of a breakup — though neither of them have confirmed the breakup. Could Hemsworth be moving on with Gonzalez once again?
It has been rumored that Hemsworth — much like Gonzalez — wants to settle down, but that Miley isn't ready for that kind of a commitment. So, it would make sense that the actress would get back with her ex if they both want a long-term relationship.
However, the pair's first tryst didn't go too well. Gonzalez was reportedly "using" Hemsworth, which caused their split. “Liam told Miley he’s not seeing Eiza anymore,” the source told Hollywood Life. “He found out that she was tipping off photographers; she was totally using him! Miley is thrilled obviously — it’s street justice, especially after Eiza was so cocky about things.”
Miley and Liam haven't officially broken up yet, and the breakup between Josh Duhamel and Eiza Gonzalez just happened, so the actress moving on with Hemsworth is probably just a rumor right now. We'll just have to stay tuned to find out who ends up with who in this interesting love rectangle.
