News of the death of rapper XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, has been swirling all over the internet, leaving his fans distraught. XXX had his fair share of enemies in the past from Drake, the Migos, and most notably his ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala.
Who is Geneva Ayala? And how deep was her relationship with XXXTentacion? Like most couples, they had their fair share of disputes but their problems escalated into toxic territory. But like most of his friends, family, and fans, Geneva is reportedly "broken" by the news of his death. According to TMZ, she also finds it repulsive and "disgusting" that people are speaking on her behalf. So distraught, that she said that "I'm still here. like how do you think that makes me feel?"
Here are a few important things about XXXTentacion's ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala and their relationship.
1. Ayala's relationship with XXXTentacion was toxic from the start.
Before dating XXX, Geneva was in a relationship with her high school boyfriend. Problems occurred after Geneva’s then-boyfriend reportedly uploaded an “illicit photo of Geneva on Twitter without her consent.” As a result of this, she stated that XXX sent her a message saying that he “insisted” on “fighting” her boyfriend. XXXTentacion “challenged the boyfriend to fight” at a movie theater in Florida but he never showed. Ayala and XXX “began dating shortly after.”
2. He abused her.

XXXTentacion and his ex Ayala reportedly moved in together back in May of 2016. That was when he began physically abusing her. His first attack was after she was “admiring a friend’s new grills in a Snapchat video.” As a result of watching the Snapchat video, he struck her “across the face” and smashed her “iPhone on the floor.” Later that day, Ayala told the Miami New Times that XXX hit her once again and threatened to rape her with a barbecue tool. "His favorite thing was to just backhand my mouth," Ayala said. "That always left welts inside my lips."
3. She has a GoFundMe page for injuries he caused.

With all the physical abuse Geneva was getting from XXX, she started a GoFundMe page to raise money for the orbital surgery she needed as a result of XXX's multiple assaults. Since XXXTentacion's murder, Ayala has earned over $32,000 for her surgery.
4. She was allegedly pregnant with his child.
Geneva claimed that she was pregnant with XXXTentacion’s child but XXX denied the claim, accusing Ayala of cheating on him and “using the domestic abuse as excuses to blackmail him.” He believed that the child wasn’t his and even went so far as to say that there is “paperwork signifying that she wasn’t pregnant.” XXX said that Geneva was sexually involved with one of his friends and she tried to “bribe” him and his mother. She was allegedly asking for 3,000.
5. XXXTentacion accused Ayala of being "mentally ill"
XXXTentacion claimed that Geneva wasn’t mentally healthy. He accused her of being “mentally ill.” He also said that she "was in a mental hospital and was never thoroughly released. He spoke with radio personality DJ Akademiks and stated that “she is clinically ill,” and claimed that he decided to keep that information a secret but had to bring it up after being put in jail.
