Gimme, gimme...I'm so extra.

There are 12 astrological signs in the zodiac and everyone fits into one sign based on their birth date. Each of the signs has specific traits, strengths, weaknesses, likes, and dislikes that make them stand out from the other signs.
Many of these qualities are very admirable, and they prove the strengths of each sign. However, with the good, always comes the bad. Each horoscope has certain, let's say, imperfections. These are the not so desirable qualities, but nevertheless, they too make the signs who they are.
One quality that's a pattern among several of the zodiac signs is that they crave attention. These are the signs who constantly need someone there to acknowledge their presence.
Let's face it we all look for a little attention every once in a while, it's certainly no crime. We just want to feel appreciated and loved by the people around us. However, there comes a point where it just becomes... desperate.
As a Gemini, I can say I am guilty as charged. Although I don't always need to be the center of attention, I do want to feel acknowledged. I like to be recognized for my efforts at work or school, or for my kind gestures in a relationship.
I know deep down that it's the thought that counts, but I still like to hear a "thank you" or a "wow, great job" every now and then. It's safe to say I'm certainly not the only one. Many of the astrological signs in the zodiac feel this way, and several feel it MUCH more than I do.

1. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Chances are the attention-seeker that popped into your head while reading this article is a Leo because Leo is known for loving attention of any kind. Being the dominant and confident woman she is, Leo absolutely loves to be admired. In fact, almost everything she does and says is done with the intention of getting a reaction out of people.
Leo craves attention so much that she doesn't even care if it's negative. As long as people have their eyes on her, she's satisfied. She takes pleasure in knowing that people are talking or thinking about her.
When it comes to relationships, Leo must be treated like a queen. If her partner isn't constantly paying attention to her, you can be sure that they'll feel her wrath.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries is quite the go-getter and lives for any kind of race or competition. This, of course, goes hand in hand with constantly winning. Aries needs someone to be waiting at the finish line for her. She loves to be celebrated, and with all that power and determination, she deserves to be.
Aries is great at acknowledging her own successes, but she wants someone constantly by her side to congratulate her. This type of approval is so much more pleasing to Aries than any kind of personal recognition.
It's no surprise that Aries plays the dominant role in her relationships, so she is often the one caring for her loved one. But if you want to make Aries' day, take the time to pamper her and compliment her on being such a great partner.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Ah yes, the infamous twins of the zodiac. Although Gemini doesn't necessarily need the kind of acknowledgement that Leo and Aries crave, she looks for attention in another way. Gemini has a very hard time being alone. It's difficult for her to complete any sort of task by herself, and she needs to have someone with her at all times.
Gemini craves the attention of pure presence. She loves knowing that there is someone by her side who she can hang out or run simple errands with.
When it comes to her partner, Gemini doesn't necessarily need to be pampered or told how great she is. She just wants someone to cuddle and watch a movie with. It's the little things that count in Gemini's relationship.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Naturally, Scorpio is a little bit different when it comes to seeking attention. She never purposely craves the attention of the people around her, it just seems to happen.
Scorpio is extremely desirable and hard to resist, and this is why people inevitably pay so much attention to her. They are captivated by her mysterious and intriguing presence and instantly want to know more about her. Wherever Scorpio goes, you can bet that all eyes are on her.
Scorpio is extremely passionate in her romantic relationship, so this is likely where she craves attention the most. She loves attention from her partner, and she will certainly give some attention back to them.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
This may come as a surprise to some, but Sagittarius thrives off of attention. She is a natural entertainer and always puts on a show for her friends and family. The best form of attention for her is when people recognize how exciting and funny she is.
Being the comedian that Sagittarius is, she loves to make people laugh, and laughter is the only way for her to know that she's doing a good job. She needs this kind of reaction to feel confident and appreciated.
However, when it comes to relationships, Sagittarius really doesn't need any attention at all. In fact, she prefers a casual relationship and can't stand when her partner acts clingy.
