Khloe's one month old daughter is breaking the internet with her cuteness but Khloe may have gotten more than she bargained for in her comments. Some random fan wrote "Her daughter is Black which proves that O.J. Simpson is Khloe’s dad." The commenter seems to forget that True isn't some kind of virgin birth and her father Tristan Thompson is African American. Khloe clued the commenter in, saying "“I mean… her dad is black silly. That’s why she’s black babe."

That little exchange clears up any ambiguity about where True comes from but it also brings back a rumor that has circled around the Kardashian universe for years: Is OJ Simpson Khloe Kardashian's father?

Given that Khloe has always maintained that Robert Kardashian is her real father, where did that rumor come from and what's the history of the Kardashian family's relationship with OJ? Read on to find out.

1. Who are Khloe's parents?

Khloe is officially the daughter of Kris and Robert Kardashian, who married in 1978. She's the third of the couple's four kids and she was born in 1984. Robert was a successful lawyer and entrepreneur, allowing the family to live a luxurious Beverly Hills lifestyle. But he could be controlling over Kris, who he wanted to mold into a perfect wife and mother. From the outside, the family looked like they were living an ideal life.

2. Trouble in paradise

By the time Kris was pregnant with Khloe, there were problems int he marriage. Robert said at the time he wasn't sure the baby was his. According to Jerry Oppenheimer’s book The Kardashians: An American Drama, Robert told people at the time that he hadn't had sex during the time Khloe had to have been conceived and that he was certain she was the child of one of Kris's lovers.

3. Kris cops to affairs.

Kris has admitted to having affairs during that time in her marriage, a claim backed up by former pro soccer player Todd Waterman who shared juicy details of their romance years later. Waterman told the Daily Mail, "The love swept us away. We made our own different reality. It was special, it was a little crazy, a little wild - we didn’t exercise caution or self-restraint. I think we were both very much in love."

Kris describes it in more vivid terms in her book Kris Jenner...All Things Kardashian, saying  "Wild crazy sex all the time. We had sex in cars, sex on the tennis court, sex in the pool house, sex in the garage when we got home, sex up and down the stairs, sex everywhere, all the time." That affair planted first seeds of doubt about Khloe's paternity.

4. Where does OJ fit in?

Simpson and Robert Kardashian had been friends even before the lawyer met Kris. They had met playing tennis in 1969 and remained close for decades after. OJ was in Robert and Kris's wedding and he was there when OJ met his future wife Nicole Brown. The two couples would hang out together, and Kris and Nicole became close friends as well. The four them of them were spending a lot of time together during the rocky phases of the Kardashian marriage when Kris was having affairs.

5. Did Kris have an affair with OJ?

In  Jerry Oppenheimer’s book The Kardashians: An American Drama, Oppenheimer talked to Cesar Sanudo, who was engaged to Kris before she ever met Robert. He says he suspected that Kris slept with OJ. Sanudo's daughter April Carillo told the Daily Mail,  "He said he was pretty sure that she was seeing OJ along with Kardashian, that she had an affair with OJ too."

6. Kris denies the OJ affair.

While Kris was been candid about her affair with Waterman, she has never acknowledged an affair with OJ

7. And OJ denies it, too.

TMZ asked him how he felt about Khloe's pregnancy and if he thought that made him a grandfather but he denied being Khloe's biodad. The felon and footballs star said, "Trust me, I had nothing to do with it. I would be proud if I had anything to do with it, but I don’t.”

8. Khloe won't entertain the rumors.

Khloe has been hearing these rumors for years, sparked by the realities of her parents' divorce but also by how different she looks from her siblings. On a 2012 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kris tries to talk her into getting a DNA test to put all the rumors to bed once and for all but Khloe wasn't having it. She refused to take the test, telling her mom “Seriously, my dad is Robert Kardashian. My other dad is Bruce Jenner.”

9. But there's one last question mark.

Allegedly, the KUWTK producers reached out to OJ's lawyer to ask for a DNA test.

Malcolm Laverge told InTouch, “The Kardashians have been trying to get a DNA test from my client for years now. Several years ago, around 2013, a producer from Keeping Up With the Kardashians called me up and said Kris had given her blessing for the show to have Mr. Simpson do a paternity test with Khloé. It was made clear to me that Khloé was also involved with this. I was told that having the results of the paternity test shown on TV would be the highest-rated Kardashian show of all time. The producers offered me $10,000 if I could convince Mr. Simpson to do it.”

Apparently, OJ never agreed so we may never know for sure if he was present at the creation of Khloe.
