Stop holding yourself back.

Is there a way to use astrology to maximize your successfulness in life? You may have gone through a tough spell and are ready to finally realize who you are as a person and reach the goals meant for you. Your rising horoscope and Sun zodiac sign can help you discover who you are, what you're meant to be, and in what way success can become a struggle for you.

By looking at your horoscope and daily astrology, you can understand what's going on in your life and what strengths (or weaknesses you have) that impact you in a positive and maybe challenging way.

The truth is that we all grew up we learned right away what our zodiac sign was. It was one of the more common questions strangers would ask along with what with big dreams we had about life. We imagined that we would accomplish our goals sooner than later. When we are kids, we dream of being successful. We said them aloud with "When I grow up, I'm going to be... " followed by whatever big dreams we had for our lives. There’s even a good chance we rattled off twenty different careers we wanted to pursue, even before turning 18 years old.

As we get older, our aspirations change because we are growing up and learning more about ourselves, but we don't realize that there are astrological reasons why things feel and happen the way that they do. Astrology explains how the planets shape things from the past, the future and the present, including our personality trait's expressions.

We all possess specific strengths that we can utilize, but we also have weaknesses that we must be aware of in order to overcome them. Unfortunately, people don’t always take this into consideration when they are pursuing opportunities and it can impact their pursuit of success

Strengths are great, every zodiac sign has them. Astrological traits give us that edge over the competition and help us move ahead in life. However, if we don’t acknowledge our weaknesses and subsequently work through them, it’s going to be harder and harder to us find that success we are aiming for.

If you are lucky enough to find something that you are exceptional at and have found success in, that is incredible! For the majority of us though, life is never that simple.

We may enter college thinking that we want to major in one thing, then decide that’s not for us and change our major. It can happen even after college. You achieve your degree, enter the real world for a few years, and discover that job field is not at all good for you.

In those types of situations, it’s important to reflect and then start to navigate your own strengths and weaknesses. Maybe you don’t need to change careers but just need to overcome some weaknesses that are holding you back.

If you are an ambitious, hard-worker but you stress out easily, it’s the stress that is your weakness. Another example would be someone who is very creative and always thinking of great ideas, but they aren’t reliable.  The fact that the person is unreliable is going to prevent them from moving forward, no matter how talented they are.

The good thing is that using astrology and our zodiac signs, we can find out both our individual strengths and weaknesses to increase our success rates. Having a thorough knowledge of this is one of the best ways to be successful.

If you’re trying to figure out the key to success, look no further than your own zodiac sign.

1. ARIES (March 21 – April 19)

As an Aries, you possess many great qualities for success. You are courageous, determined, honest, passionate, and optimistic. You are actually one of the most driven zodiac signs. However, you also have some important weaknesses to be mindful of.

As resilient as you are, you can also be impatient, aggressive, and impulsive. To manage impatience, take a moment to breathe and acknowledge that not everyone is on your same timeline. Try spending time in nature or doing an activity like yoga to help curb your aggression.

Being impulsive can be exciting, but it's not always smart. Strive to think through decisions more thoroughly and seek advice from those around you before going through with something.

2. TAURUS (April 20 – May 20)

You are someone people can count on, and that is super important. In a day and age when people don't follow-through on things, you understand how crucial it is to keep your word. In addition to being reliable and responsible, you are also stable, patient, and devoted.

These are all great strengths, especially with finding long-term opportunities. Your weaknesses though are that you are very stubborn and possessive. When it comes to personal relationships, being possessive will not help you achieve success in love.

The best way to help your possessive instincts is to trust people better and not jump to negative conclusions. See the best in others. Additionally, you can be stubborn to the point of uncompromising, and in order to be successful, you must be willing to compromise.

Not everything will go the way you want it to and that's OK. I'm sure even Steven Spielberg can compromise when it comes to filmmaking. If a legendary director is able to, then you can too.

3. GEMINI (May 21 – June 20)

One of your best strengths is that you are adaptable and can learn quickly. Not many people have this ability, and it definitely gives you an advantage in life. Your other strengths include exchanging ideas, a gentle and affectionate personality, and a curious nature.

Your weaknesses, however, don't help the situation. You are nervous, inconsistent, and indecisive. Even though you may adapt well, you've got to have the confidence to back it up. Trust in yourself more, and even give yourself a good pep talk at the start of the day.

It's also important for you to have conviction in the decisions you make. If you decide to do something, go for it completely. Only doing something half-heartedly will not help you achieve success.

4. CANCER (June 21 – July 22)

You have some fantastic - and diverse - strengths: tenacity, loyalty, sympathy, imagination, and emotion. In addition to these strengths, you are also very persuasive. Odds are you've successfully talked your way out of a traffic ticket or two, which might be considered more of a super-power than a mere personality strength.

Your weaknesses, however, include being pessimistic, suspicious, manipulative, and insecure. Weaknesses like this are especially harmful to cultivating relationships with people. You're more likely to keep others at a distance and never fully trust that someone actually has good intentions. Allow yourself to trust others better and you'll find success.

5. LEO (July 23 – August 22)

Your strengths make you the kind of person others want to be around. You inspire people with your passion, but you are also generous, cheerful, creative, and humorous. As much as you enjoy the limelight, the people around you love your engaging personality.

Having this kind of charisma is a great path to achieving success. That being said, it's also important for you to curb your stubborn side and arrogance. People like charm but not a big ego. Practice some more self-humility. You also tend to be lazy, which as we all know does not lead to success. No matter your circumstances, if you're not willing to work, you will fall behind.

6. VIRGO (August 23 – September 22)

In addition to being both loyal and kind, you are also very hard-working and practical. These are particularly great traits to emphasize when looking for career opportunities. You are also great at analyzing things, which makes you a fantastic asset because you want to find ways to solve problems and create good strategies for success.

The biggest thing holding you back though is how much you worry. Whether it's worrying about the circumstances around you or being overly critical of yourself, it severely hinders your chance for success. Because of this, you develop a very shy personality, which is a shame because you have so much to offer.

The shyness is a result of being so self-critical and worrying about every step you take. In order to overcome this, remind yourself that some things are out of control and have more faith that if you are doing the best you can, that's what matters.

7. LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)

Your Libra strengths are especially great for leadership positions. You are cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, and social. Most people would love to see these qualities in their leaders, and the great news is that they are already a part of your personality.

However, what also makes a great leader is someone who has confidence in making decisions. Unfortunately, being indecisive is one of your weaknesses. You also avoid confrontations, which means that without expressing yourself, you build up a grudge against others and develop a strong sense of self-pity.

The best thing you can work on is speaking up for yourself. Once you gain more confidence from that, it will also help you in your decision-making.

8. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpios are the kind of zodiac sign whose strengths are befitting of many popular heroes. You are brave, resourceful, passionate, and a true friend. Though we never find out his birthday, there's probably a good chance Indiana Jones was a Scorpio.

No heroes are perfect though. You may be brave, but that also means you are more violent. That kind of weakness can manifest itself in many negative ways into your life and hold you back from success. Not many people are going to be too happy with someone prone to fighting.

You are also very distrusting, secretive, and jealous. People may admire your courage, but will quickly be turned off by your Lifetime movie-esque weaknesses. It's important for you to trust other people better, which will, in turn, cause you to be less violent. Indiana Jones is good. Lifetime movie villain is bad.

9. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)

A Sagittarius is a wonderful person to know. You have a great sense of humor and are idealistic, which means that you bring joy to those around you. Generosity is another strength of yours, but it's also something that you need to monitor.

You love to give to others, and sometimes you end up promising more than you can deliver. It's great to want to help, but it's worse when you fail to meet expectations. One thing you need to work on is having a better sense of what you can — and can't — accomplish.

Sometimes it's better to do less and deliver than agree to do more and fail. Another weakness for you to be mindful of is your impatience, which can cause you to say anything, no matter how bad it is. Especially in this day and age, it's really important to take into account the things we say. It might be hard for you to find success if you're known as that person who went on a crazy rant in the local grocery store.

10. CAPRICORN (December 22 – January 19)

As a Capricorn, you are greatly self-disciplined. While some people need to be pushed to get things done, you excel at pushing yourself to make things happen. You are also a great manager and responsible, both of which go hand-in-hand with your ability to self-discipline.

Though you may be great at managing yourself, you don't do well when being managed by others. You think you know it all, so listening to criticism or direction does not sit well with you. Even if you are self-employed, you will inevitably be interacting with others and having the humility to learn and accept that you don't do everything right is crucial to success.

Nobody's perfect — not even you. Additionally, you are condescending which is still a form of rude behavior. Expecting the worst is also something you tend to do. It's important to put positive energy out there because when we believe something bad can happen, it's like triggering the bad thing to actually happen. Your biggest things to work on are having a more positive outlook and embracing learning from others.

11. AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)

With so much negativity going on in the world, you are someone who can help make things better. One of the best strengths of an Aquarius is that you are a humanitarian. We need more of this in our world. You genuinely care about the well-being of others and that is truly wonderful.

You are also progressive, original, and independent. Ironically, even though you have a passion for helping others, you tend to stray from having close, personal relationships. You are aloof and run from emotional expression. While you may meet so many people helping others, you emotionally keep a distance.

This is something that can also hold you back from finding real love too. Work on letting yourself open up to love and real relationships. Another weakness of yours is that you can also be a bit temperamental, so be sure to keep that temper in check when you find yourself getting upset.

12. PISCES (February 19 – March 20)

A Pisces is a truly gentle soul who is compassionate, intuitive, and wise. You are like a little zodiac Yoda. Another strength of yours is that you are artistic, which tends to come in the form of a musical ability or interest.

Although you are compassionate, you can also be really sad and fearful. You are overly trusting of others, and when things don't work out, you can let your emotions get the best of you and develop a victim mentality.

While many people are sympathetic to what you are feeling, if you are consistently whining, it will get old fast. The best thing for you to work on is not dwelling in negativity. Find a creative outlet like music or art to express your emotion, rather than sharing it with the world — or whoever will listen.
