There is such thing as being nice to a fault.

I am by no means “too nice.” Sometimes, I wish I were — that I could just be the person everyone describes as super sweet and kind, but then I think, “Ehhhh, maybe not.” It’s not that I go out of my way to be mean, but I do know how to keep people from taking advantage of me or walking all over me just because they think they can get away with it.
Being nice isn’t a bad quality to have — at all — if you're a naturally kind and giving person. Some zodiac signs are astrology's helpers, so being there for the people they love is . how they express themselves. The world needs people who love to help others and be there for a friend when needed. Not everyone can be the same, and being nice is a wonderful zodiac personality trait to have.
In fact, it’s better to be kind and nice and sweet to everyone than be a giant b*tch just because you think it is fun.
Sure, some situations are better handled when you can be a b*tch – like when a guy is hitting on you and doesn’t get the hint that you aren’t interested but cutting people off in traffic or deliberately being rude to someone you just met isn’t fun or cute; it’s unkind.
But being nice can come with some fine lines when you’re in certain situations and around particular people. You might find yourself being nicer than usual when you’re around friends and family, simply because you would do anything for them.
Other times, you put up your guard around new people; you still want to be kind to them, but you don’t want to be so nice that they walk all over you. This makes a lot of sense, but when all you care about is being kind to everyone you meet, it can be hard to stop people from taking advantage of you or using you just for your nice personality.
You might be thinking that there is NO way that could ever happen to you — and hey, I believe that you’re a smarty pants who knows when people are just using you for their own gain.
But I also know that people can be tricky.
Sometimes, you don’t even realize that your best friend makes you do practically everything for her because she’s lazy, manipulative, or both; it’s happened to me before and it’s probably happened to you, too. But then there are the people who are just way too nice, no matter what the situation is.
Sometimes, they just want people to like them and sometimes they feel like it’s their duty to help everyone who comes their way, but however it plays out, it can be impossible for them to say no once they’ve started to say yes, which makes them pretty much nice to a fault.
And if you ever tell anyone that they’re being too nice, then you know that it can break their heart (because being nice is what they’re all about). It’s not bad to be too nice, in my opinion. But I also think you need to be smart and be aware of how you spread the love.
And for these three horoscope signs, that’s harder than you think.
Not only does their horoscopes tell them that they are some of the nicest signs you’ll meet, but they’re also big softies (to varying degree). So, being nice to a fault isn’t that inconceivable when talking about these signs, no matter how much they tell you that they aren’t that nice.
But you can be the judge of that after you read about the three zodiac signs that are just way too nice.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer loves being nice simply because she likes being known as the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. And yes, while that is a true enough statement, it can also get her into a lot of trouble… especially when people take advantage of her kindness. When people know that Cancer will do pretty much anything for them as long as they ask nicely, they tend to go too far with it.
Whether she’s picking up coffee for the whole team at work or picking up your dry cleaning because you’re too tired, Cancer would go to the ends of the earth for the people she cares about. However, she doesn’t always realize that people are using her. All she sees is a chance to do something nice for someone else. This is a great quality to have, but she definitely needs to be more aware of how far she’ll go for someone.
VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sep 22)
Virgo wants to be known as the friend who will be there whenever you need her and the one who can anticipate your every need before you do. Not only does this make her an amazing friend to have, it also makes her one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Of course, being this nice can sometimes come with some issues, which Virgo isn’t always ready to admit to.
Virgo is no dummy – meaning she knows when people are trying to take advantage of her. But she has always had problems letting people she loves “no.” She feels like if she says no to someone once, they’ll never come to her again when they need her. And the idea that someone would take her off of the “Best Friends Forever” list is just way too heartbreaking to think about. So, she continues being way too nice to save face.
PISCES (Feb 19 - Mar 20)
Pisces is one of the nicest signs you’ll ever meet, not just because she’s a kind soul, but also because she’s so approachable. She’s the type of person to bring you cookies because you mentioned you missed your mom’s baking or invite you to stay over and watch movies with her. She likes being nice simply because it makes her feel good.
Of course, being nice comes with expectations, and if there’s one thing Pisces hates, it’s letting people down. Being way too nice for Pisces means having too many people depend on her at all times. And she feels like it’s her duty to help everyone she can, even if it means putting herself on the back burner. It may make her sad to do so, but her inability to not help someone makes it impossible for her to stop being so nice.
