Corey Feldman Reveals Details About Sexual Abuse He Suffered By A Man He Met When He Was 12

Alphy Hoffman Corey Feldman Sexual Abuse

Corey Feldman named another one of his six alleged abusers on the "Dr. Oz" show that aired Monday afternoon. According to Feldman, Alphy Hoffman, the man who ran the infamous underground kids club called Alphy's Soda Pop Club, sexually abused him when he was a young actor.

“I met him when I was 12 years old," Feldman told Dr. Oz. "He came to my house to pick me up in his car. I’d heard rumors he threw the coolest parties in town and he was well connected."

Hoffman, whose real name is Alphy Rivas, ran the Hollywood club from 1986 to 1989. Private and only for kids under the age of 16 who were working in film and television, the club included a dancefloor and neverending access to soda. Along with big names like Feldman and the late Corey Haim, the club was attended by other stars like Alyssa Milano, Nicole Eggert, Scott Grimes and Alfonso Ribeiro.

“Those parties were relatively kid-friendly," Feldman continued. "Interestingly, that’s where I met the guy that ended up molesting Haim. There were a bunch of these guys. They were there hanging out together at these parties. And the thing is, there weren’t a lot of parents at the party. Because he would pick them up and he would become friends with all these kids."

Feldman claims that after a few years of going to the club, Hoffman started molesting him.

Though he didn't understand what was happening then, experts on the show said Hoffman was "grooming" Feldman, a process in which a child predator does what they need to in order to gain the child's trust before the assault. When the abuse did begin, Feldman said he was left confused and frightened, especially because Hoffman often talked to him about dating and girls.

Feldman also alleged that Hoffman drugged him one time while he was at his home. He said he had to lie down to stop the room from spinning because he was so "out of it." That's when he believes the abuse began.

The former child star said he was afraid to tell his parents because he was worried about what they might say or think.

"One night, we were watching a movie, and I passed out while we were watching the movie," he said, speaking of the first time he was abused by Hoffman. "And when I woke up, there was a porn on again. And I was like 'Man I'm really tired," and he was like 'Oh go lay down in my bedroom.'"

Feldman said he doesn't remember what he was given that night, but said he had trouble walking.

"We went to the bedroom, and I was passing in and out, and he was doing the same things to me that Jon had done. And this is where I woke up in the middle of it and I kind of freaked out and was like 'Oh my god are they comparing notes?' Like I'm being passed back and forth. It was shocking and jarring and offensive."

The "Jon" Feldman is referring to is Jon Grissom, the man who first molested him while they were filming a movie together. Feldman also revealed child talent manager Marty Weiss as another of his abusers.

Though Grissom has denied the allegations, and Hoffman hasn't been reached for comment, Dr. Oz's team reached out to nearly two dozen people who attended Alphy's Soda Pop Club while in their teens. Some of them, who remained anonymous, described Hoffman as "grooming," "creepy," and a "pedophile."

Before Haim died in 2010, he gave an interview in 2004 about the club, saying that he stopped attending because people around him started doing drugs and drinking alcohol.

"But we would walk through and you’d see some of the people who were upstairs, some were actors and some were musicians, but the bartender would be like, ‘No problem! You guys can have some drinks even though I know you’re underage, but I know who you are and you hang out at this place all the time, so here you go,’” Haim said.

He also made his opinion on Hoffman well-known.

“I don’t think he’s a good human being," he said. "I lost complete respect for Alphy Hoffman. Alphy sucks! Point-f--king-blank.”

There are six men in total who Feldman suspects of pedophilia, including an "A-lister" who he fears might kill him if he reveals his name. Almost a month ago. Feldman announced his plan to bring down the pedophile ring that exists in Hollywood by raising $10,000,000 to make a film naming names. So far, he's raised $236,455 for his "TRUTH Campaign." You can donate to it by clicking here.
