Never say never...

Cheating. The word itself brings plenty of brutal images and ideas to mind. Personally, it sends shivers through my body.
Long gone are the days where cheating meant something related to a math test. I used to be terrified I would get caught angling my body slightly to the right to get a better view of the paper of the kid with the desk next to mine. Trust me, I studied. I worked hard and I never wanted to cheat, but some things just didn’t stick well with me.
So while I never wanted to cheat, as I sat there staring at my blank answers, I felt backed into a corner.
I felt like I had to do it — like it was my only choice. I wanted the best out of life. I wanted to attend a good college where I would get a great degree that would lead to the perfect job and therefore to happily ever after. So, you know, sometimes it just happened...
I’ve never cheated on a significant other and I haven't been cheated on yet, and I say "yet" because no one knows what the future holds.
Do I plan to cheat on anyone? No.
But really, does anyone ever start a relationship with the idea in mind that they are going to have an affair?
Probably not. And I think it’s tricky.
No, it’s not tricky to not kiss someone else while you’re in a relationship, but it’s tricky to agree on the definition of cheating. Is cheating solely about physical contact or can it be about emotional connections too? If there are no emotions behind the physical act, is that cheating?
I’m pretty sure that if I found my significant other in bed with someone else, I would end the relationship right there on the spot.
But if I found out they had been texting another girl, is that something I could look past? Is that something he and I could work on in an effort to save our relationship?
Cheating hurts. Well, I can’t speak from experience, but I can imagine it does.
You think you’ve found someone you are going to spend he rest of your life with. You feel like this person completes you in ways you didn't know you needed to be made complete. You think this is your soulmate.
Or maybe you’ve only been dating for a month or two and you’re giving the relationship a shot, but you’re not too sure about where it's heading. Then they sleep with someone else and you feel blindsided. Everything you were enjoying in the present and looking forward to in the future comes crashing down around you.
I find it hard to understand why, when people are unhappy in their relationships, they just step outside of it with someone else rather than more considerately ending the relationship first rather than causing such needless pain.
In the end, we’re all trying to find the one we want to spend our lives with, right?
Even if you don’t plan to ever commit infidelity, you never know what situation you may find yourself in the future.
So if you want to avoid being the heartbreaker in the scenario, it would be beneficial to know at which point in your life you're most likely to end up cheating. That way, when you reach that point you can be extra aware of your actions in an effort to make sure you never put yourself in that position.
And when it comes to figuring out at what point in your life you may be lured into the act of adultery, your zodiac sign may hold the answer.
Some signs will be more inclined to cheat in their younger, wilder years, while others will cheat later on in life, and other signs may never be in the clear when it comes to being at risk for having an affair. No matter which fate is yours, it’s important to get an idea of when this may end up happening to you.

Aries (March 21- April 19)
Aries is most likely to cheat later on in life when things with their partner have settled down and life has become a dull routine of working, cleaning, household chores and sleeping. Maybe their other half constantly works late all the time or goes out of town for business. There is just something missing from Aries life, she knows exactly what it is, and she's pretty sure if she doesn’t get what she needs, she will go insane. When she's caught, she is likely to play victim by saying something like, "But you’re always gone," "You never put me first," or "He made me feel important."

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is a super loyal sign, so there is a very slim chance she will ever be the cheater — but, never say never! Her loyalty makes it extra hard for her to end relationships when she’s no longer too happy in them, which can definitely lead her down the wrong path. Chances are she will cheat in her late teens or early twenties when she finds herself falling in and out of love more often and hasn't yet found her voice or the confidence to stand her ground just yet.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
You’re most likely to cheat when you experience a big change in your life. This might be when you’re 18 and moving into college, 22 and moving to a new and exciting city, or really at any time in your life when you're in a place of transition. You’re social and have no problem creating close bonds with new people, but sometimes those bonds get a little too strong. You always feel guilty after and usually come clean about what happened. You just get so swept up in the excitement of a new adventure that the line between right and wrong often gets blurred.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer doesn’t have to worry about having a one-night stand with a stranger while she’s seeing someone, but she does have to worry about falling into the trap of hooking back up her ex. Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Leo generally doesn't cheat, because she knows how sucky it would feel if it happened to her, but we can’t say cheating has never crossed her mind. If there is something seriously going wrong in her relationship, or if she feels like hurting her significant other out of spite, these are all reasons Leo may cheat. Normally, issues that lead Leo to cheat don't arrive in long-term relationships, but rather during her shorter flings. So, if Leo is going to cheat, it’s going to be in her younger years, her early twenties when she really needs the attention.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo really needs stability and perfection in her life. If she is able to achieve that, she's not going to cheat. If she is in a committed and serious relationship, she is not going to jeopardize it or add more stress to her life by sneaking around. However, if Virgo is not in a committed relationship, she's not opposed to seeing multiple people at once, which some might mistake for cheating. This can happen at any age, young or old. While Virgo is still looking for "the one", she's also trying to have fun!

Libra (September 23 - October 22)
Libra will never cheat while she’s married, but if cheating happens in any other relationship, she definitely thinks the two of you would be able to work past this small bump in the grand scheme of your relationship. Naturally, she is a huge flirt, and some people think that alone can be considered cheating. Libra will cheat, though, when everything is stressing her out! If she feels trapped by work, friends, and relationships she is going to look for a way to break out and rebel, and cheating might be the way for her to feel like she has some control over her life. Chances are this will happen in her late-twenties when the stress has been piling on for a while.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
If Scorpio is having an affair, it’s not just a one-time mistake. If she is going to do this, she is going to think it through and have it all planned out so she can be sure she won’t get caught. This means she will probably cheat later on in life after she has lived and learned from her mistakes and knows what she can get away with. Anytime between the ages of 30 and 50 could be when Scorpio is most likely to taking these chances. After that, all the sneaking around feels too exhausting and childish.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
While Sagittarius is young, she can be described as childish. She likes that she has multiple boys lined up for her, and she even likes to brag about it to a select few. She’ll grow out of this by the time she turns 30 and is ready to settle down (if she hasn't already), but anytime before that is fair game for Sagittarius to have some fun.

Is there a difference between emotional cheating and physical cheating? If you ask Capricorn, she’ll say yes when she tells you that even though she slept with them or kissed them, it was silly and meant nothing. She’s definitely sorry she did it and that she hurt you, but to her, it really didn’t mean much because there was no emotion behind it at all. If there's one sign most likely to be an emotional cheater, it's Aquarius. She is quick to form bonds with people and she tends to be a flirt, which could be a recipe for disaster. Aquarius would never think to physically cheat on her significant other, but she may not realize that emotional cheating can be just as bad. This really only goes on with Aquarius during her mid to late twenties when she’s first entering the world on her own, starting a new job, and meeting lots of new people. She sometimes believes she's just being friendly, but anyone on the outside would definitely interpret the messages she sends as flirty enough to be considered borderline cheating at best.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
There's no one age at which Pisces is most likely to cheat, but rather there are stages in her relationships during which she will be most vulnerable to temptation. Once the honeymoon stage is done, anywhere from one to two years into the relationship, the thought of having an affair starts creeping into her mind. Maybe her significant other just isn't meeting her needs. Maybe she's looking for a way out. Or maybe she just gets caught up in the excitement.
