Did Chris Pratt Cheat On Anna Faris With Jennifer Lawrence? 3 Big Rumors On Why They're Separating

People Today is a depressing day.
After eight years of making us laugh, smile and happy cry with their hashtag marriage goals, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are separating and headed toward divorce.
In a joint statement posted to both of their social media pages, they announced their legal separation.
"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
CNN confirmed their spilt Aug. 7, and the whole world mourned because they were seriously one of the cutest couples ever.
Anna and Chris met in 2007 on the set of "Take Me Home," a film they were both featured in. At the time, Anna was married, so she and Chris were just friends. A few times, she even acted as his wing man.
After Anna and her ex, Ben Indra, divorced, she and Chris started dating and got married in Bali in 2009. They have one son together, 4-year-old Jack.
I don't think I'm the first person to say that I didn't see this coming. Chris and Anna have been Hollywood relationship goals for years now, and despite a few bumps, they seemed like one the happier famous couples out there. But their marriage has come to an end, and all we're left with are memories of the cute things they used to say to each other.
"Anna and I are meant to be together," Chris said in an interview in 2015. "Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life. She and I grew up 20 minutes away from each other but never met until we met in LA."
UGH. FEELS. EMOTIONS.
So why did the power couple call it quits?
An official reason hasn't been given, but here are three theories and rumors that are circulating on the web.
1. Chris cheated on Anna with Jennifer Lawrence.
When Chris Pratt starred alongside the beautiful and charismatic Jennifer Lawrence in "Passengers" in 2016, everybody wondered. And since it's Hollywood, and Twitter exists, everyone wondered out loud and online.
Though the rumors that Chris had an affair with Jennifer were said to be false, Anna still admitted that they made her feel insecure about their relationship.
“This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. [But] it has been weirdly stinging,” Anna said last December. “I have always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true because they had never been a part of my life. I thought 'Maybe there is a kernel of truth to that.'”
On Anna's podcast Unqualified, she talked about the rumors and how being a 'public couple' has impacted their relationship.
“We grapple with the idea of being a public couple,” she said. “For the first time, maybe a year ago or 10 months ago, we were in the public a little bit. There were some tabloid rumors about strain in our relationship. I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me because I didn’t want to think of myself as somebody that could be affected by tabloid s**t.”
“I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris. But having said that, of course, in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in L.A. raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would. It made me feel incredibly insecure.”
Maybe she grew more insecure because the rumors ended up being true?
2. Anna was upset with Chris being more famous than her.
Anna spoke once or twice about how fame affected her marriage to Chris.
"There are two different roles that you play — the one on-camera and the one in public," she said. "That's the tricky part."
When Anna and Chris first got together, they were arguably at the same level of fame, but more recently he starred on blockbuster hits such as "Guardians of the Galaxy." He also lost a considerable amount of weight in the process.
In 2015, Pratt said that his wife preferred him a little chunkier.
“[Anna] likes abs, but she likes her fat husband better because she gets to feed him… She's a feeder and she wants to keep me locked up in the bedroom all fat and eating Kentucky Fried Chicken..
This isn't the first marriage of Anna's that's been hurt by fame. She said her marriage to ex-husband, Ben Indra. She said when her career began to take off, Indra's began to fail, and it took a toll on them.
"That kind of destroyed my marriage," she said. "The divide began too great."
Indra hasn't been in a movie or TV show since their split.
3. Chris was too focused on his career and stopped caring about Anna.
After spending over a year working on movies back-to-back, Chris said he was going to take six months off to spend time with his family.
But, in December, he started traveling again all over the world to promote his movie with Jennifer. And he started filming another movie in April.
It seems like there was a reason Chris went back on the road and chose not to spend more time with his family.
Maybe Anna grew tired of being second choice to his increasing fame?
