We may not all be superheroes, but we usually have a mortal enemy. Okay, maybe "enemy" is too strong of a word, but we do have that one person we just don't get along with.
The source of the animosity between you and an archenemy can be a variety of things. Past grudges, perhaps. Maybe their attitude irks you. But whether it's through astrology or checking their horoscope, one thing is for sure: you absolutely cannot stand them or their presence.
However, if you're unsure as to why the thought of that person makes your blood boil, take a look at their zodiac sign. Since zodiac signs are a kind of guide to our personalities, you'll discover that you may have a lot more in common with your "mortal enemy" than you initially thought. And maybe, that's exactly the problem.
Aries (March 21 - April 19) and Aries
With Aries being stubbornly independent, it only makes sense that they won't get along too well with an equally stubborn, independent Aries. They're natural leaders, and a battle for leadership and dominance is likely to ensue.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20) and Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Taurus prefers to be the faithful follower rather than the leader, which might seem like a perfect match for a Leo's domineering air. However, Taurus are also stubborn and don't like being told what to do. This can pose a problem for Leo, who are used to having their way.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20) and Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Geminis are independent free spirits, with a taste for mischief and impulsive decisions. On the other hand, Cancers are also independent, but oversensitive and self-absorbed. What a Gemini does in the name of fun and comedy, a Cancer may take offense to. They will always clash.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22) and Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Virgo and Aquarius are both fiercely independent signs; however, Virgos are analytical and examine a situation first before delving into a situation. Meanwhile, Aquarius are creative and impulsive... if they feel like it. An Aquarius' rebellious streak might be too much for the more demure Virgo.
Libra (September 23 - October 22) and Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Although they can make for compatible partners, Libra and Capricorn's personalities clash greatly. Libra is the social butterfly to Capricorn's distrustful nature. Libra is laid back, whereas Capricorn values hard work. Both are also equally vain and conceited, thus leading to a rocky start if they have opposing beliefs.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) and Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)
Scorpio and Aquarius are actually quite similar in personality, but it leans more towards mistrust than friendliness. Aside from being independent signs, both are stubbornly suspicious of everyone else. They also prefer to follow their own lead rather than follow another.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21) and Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Sagittarius prefers to hide emotions, whereas Pisces is one of the most emotional signs. Sagittarius have no self-control in saying exactly what they feel, whether they mean it to be malicious or not. This poses a problem for the oversensitive Pisces.
