So you're a woman who hasn't been getting it on lately; what do you do to the fix the problem? Maybe you try to fix it by buying new lingerie in order to feel sexy. Maybe you try to eat some foods that are known to be aphrodisiacs in order to increase that libido. But there is one thing that a new study has found actually works.

A study published in Journal of Sexual Medicine found that what a lot of ladies are missing to ramp up their sex life is something they need every night: sleep!

The study found that with each hour of sleep a woman increases her chances of getting lucky by 14 percent. Sleep also can decrease issues with vaginal arousal.

"These findings indicate that insufficient sleep can decrease sexual desire and arousal for women," Dr. David Kalmbach, a psychologist at Kent State University and the study's lead author, explained in a public statement. "I think the take-home message should not be that more sleep is better, but that it is important to allow ourselves to obtain the sleep that our mind and body needs."

Just another valid reason to strive for that 8 hours of shut-eye.
