8 Awesome Sex Positions For When You're Having A 'Fat Day'

Ever nix sexy time right after polishing off beer and nachos? PMSing and the bloat having you feel anything but like sending that sext? We all have days that we know our body isn't looking its best, but that's no excuse to shun some fun. We all have our problem areas, and different positions may work better depending on what we're feeling sensitive about — be it our belly, butt, thighs, even boobs. The idea is to feel relaxed about that so we can have fun.

First of all, whomever we're willing to have sex with should want us no matter how bloated we may feel that day — but if we're aiming to camouflage a little extra belly bulge, there's some positions that work perfectly.

For example, Reverse Cowgirl. You're not facing him, so no eye contact. 1. Missionary

Having a fat day? Lay on your back and work it in good old (so good!) missionary position, says relationship expert Laurel House. When you're on your back, your fat all falls down onto the bed, pulling back from your thighs, stomach, and face. Your stomach flattens, your thighs seem slimmer, and your face seems slightly nipped and tucked!

Fear that missionary is boring? Change it up by squeezing your thighs together and have your man straddle you, says House. By squeezing your thighs together you are internally tightening your muscles and wrapping yourself around him. Because your thighs are pressed together, you are creating an external tightening so that with each thrust your man makes, he will love the squeeze between your legs.

2. Side-by-Side

The more on your back or on your side you are, the less you'll see your stomach or feel it extended, says Dr. Jane Greer, New York-based marriage and sex therapist and author of What About Me? Stop Selfishness From Ruining Your Relationship. When we lie on our backs, we lose two pounds instantly!

3. Doggy-style

"I would say doggy is the best for a fat day. Take this advice from someone who has had to perform on camera, a day after Thanksgiving!" says Joanna Angel, an adult film star. "You really don't see much but ass, and your thighs get kind of stretched out and look smoother than they actually are. You also can see your boobs jigging around from that angle underneath — which might be a cup size bigger than they're supposed to be, depending on how fat of a fat day it really is!" she says.

4. On top

The man is so turned on at this moment, while he is staring up at you (and more than likely with his hands planted firmly on your breasts) that he won't notice your 'fat day' discomfort! "Not to mention, you are great workout at the same time! Stretch yourself up and back, flattening out your stomach, and work those legs, girls!" says Celebrity Chef Diane DiMeo.

5. Easy Chair

When you're sitting in the chair and he's on top of you, it hides your stomach. When you're having a fat day, you usually feel the most self-conscious here, in your thighs, and your butt. Any position that helps you feel concealed in those areas is good, says Dr. Greer.
