'50 Shades' Friday: Stars Hang Out And Lucy Hale Audition Details

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in Entertainment Weekly as Christian Grey and Ana Steele from '50 Shades Of Grey' for the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' movie

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is determined to get that album promo for her new country release, so naturally she's dishing on her Fifty Shades Of Grey movie audition yet again.

The lantern-jawed actress told MTV News of her 50 Shades tryout, "[It was] Awkward. It actually was just me [in the audition]. It was a two-page monologue of exactly what you would think it would be. Very uncomfortable, but it was sort of one of those things where you just had to go for it or you're just gonna look lame — hopefully, I didn't look lame," she said wryly. "It was unlike any audition I've ever done before in my life."

Doesn't sound to us like she meant that in a good way, but you can imagine her tune changing if she actually got the part, right? Girl, your grapes are sour.

"I think [the monologue] was written just for this audition," she continued. "Let's just say I don't want my grandmother watching this audition tape," she laughed. "I think any girl in my demographic would have loved to be a part of it. Mainly, I was just interested in doing something risky and doing something a little different than my character on PLL so it took me out of my comfort zone.”

Meanwhile, stars who actually got parts in 50 Shades Of Grey are getting along famously. Rita Ora, who stars as Mia Grey, the adoptive sister to Christian Grey, Instagrammed a snap of her and Dakota Johnson, who beat Hale out to star as Ana Steele, hanging out with fashion designer Stella McCartney. Wonder if Ora has a thing for nepotists. She did date Rob Kardashian, after all:

Also on Instagram? Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan (or an awesome imposter, we're not sure yet). Dornan teased Fifty Shades Of Grey movie fans with a throwback photo from his modeling days as the "Golden Torso," a name he rightly earned — and it has a distinctly Christian Grey vibe to it.

Ora has previously gushed about Dornan, both in and out of character as Christian Grey. She told VH1 of their filming experience, "It was one of the best experiences of my life. I love him, he's so, so, so sweet." On Mia Grey's relationship with her onscreen brother? "I'm obviously unaware of his fantasies and I love my brother and I support him!"
