Congrats to 'X Factor's' Kelly Rowland on her engagement to longtime boyfriend Tim Witherspoon.

The world was pretty surprised when Kelly Rowland announced her engagement out of left field, but no one more than Rowland herself!
Get to know her fiancé, Tim Witherspoon—and why they're so darn cute together!
1. They've been dating for four years.
Rowland managed to keep her private life very private—maybe taking a cue from her BFF, Beyoncé. She told Queen Latifah, "It's been a while. We've kept it very, very low—for years, to be completely honest."
2. Witherspoon is Rowland's manager.
He's doing a pretty awesome job, too, from her singles like "Motivation" and "Kisses Down Low" to her X Factor deals, first in the U.K. and now in the U.S.
3. He's got great taste in rings!
That's some rock she's rocking ... and he bought it! Witherspoon presented his longtime love with a cushion-cut engagement ring with a halo surrounding the center stone. It's estimated to be worth close to $100,000.
4. He's a romantic—and he just couldn't wait anymore!
Witherspoon popped the question over Skype while Rowland says she was "in Bulgaria somewhere." She said of the moments just before the proposal, "We were just staring at each other." Awww!
5. Like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Rowland and Witherspoon were friends first.
She gushed, "I got my best friend to ride through life with. He really is my best friend." Congrats, Kel!
