Shabnam Samuel Thakar

Shabnam Samuel Thakar ,is a writer, a coach for women entrepreneurs and the founder of the Panchgani Writers' Retreat in India. Shabnam is also involved in an outreach program in India for women in the villages, to take their artisan skills to a larger platform and find financial independence to help sustain their families and educate their children. Shabnam was born and raised in India and has called Washington,DC home , for the last 30 years where she lives with her husband and is a mother of one. Her writings are based on the life she led in India being raised by bi racial grandparents ( a Russian and an Indian) in the 60's and 70's. 

With a Masters in Advertising and Public Relations, Shabnam opened the first ever woman owned advertising agency in her state in India. She now helps clients , mostly small business owners, authors and artists with their social media needs. Shabnam also does social media training workshops and facilitates memoir writing workshops.

Shabnam is working on her memoir " A Fractured Life"
