Rosemary De Faria, EFT, LCSW, MSW - Expert

Hello and welcome.  I would like to introduce myself to you.  I am a psychotherapist, healer, teacher, author, coach, musician and cancer survivor and I am so fortunate to be able to do the work I love.

In 1996 I founded Distinct Therapeutics, a psycho-spiritual psychotherapy practice where I combine traditional and alternative therapies in working with my clients.  My areas of specialty include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, Grief, Family of Origin issues, Health Challenges, Spiritual Growth, Couples Counseling and Addiction. 

My philosophy about doing this work is that the most crucial component is the bond between therapist and client.  Being that I work from an open heart, I feel that this sets the tone for all the work that follows.  I use a variety of modalities in my practice and you can read about them on my website but the most important element in healing is LOVE. 

What makes me unique is the intention to come from a place of love and hold a loving space in which to do this deep work.  That is my “brand”.

I would very much like the opportunity to partner with you in working to heal old wounds  and help you in accessing parts of yourself that have been , up until now, unavailable.  In short, I will help you to be the person you came here to be.
