About Anne Crowley

Welcome! I'm Dr. Anne Crowley a licensed psychologist working with individuals and couples to enhance their relationships, find connection and regain the "sweetness" in marriage.

I know it sounds counterintuitive to think of marriage as a place of loneliness, but it can be. When we feel disconnected from our partner, we feel distanced and alone. I work with couples to help them "make a space" to feel empowered in their relationships, learn tools to communicate and understand one another, and reconnect and resonate within the relationships.

We desire love and companionship in our lives, yet sometimes, once we have found that love, we struggle to maintain connection and flourish in our relationship. Fighting with your partner might feel good - it serves as attention and interaction (something that might be lacking in your relationship), but HOW it is done might be damaging to the relationship. I work with clients to help them identify the negative interactional patterns and learn new, healthy ways of engaging with their partners.

In addition to private practice, I have also taught courses in marriage and family theory, techniques and assessment in the master's of arts counseling program at Texas State and St. Edward's Universities.
