I am The Single Woman's Coach. After two decades of working with university students to interpret literary stories, I realized it was equally, if not more, important to know and write your own story, especially when it comes to with relationships and living single. A Ph.D. in cultural studies, I have written numerous scholarly articles--and a book--on the stories women are told about who they are or should be. Women have always challenged those stories, created new narratives, images, spaces, and possibilities. I realized that it was equally, if not more important, to understand, know and write your own story, especially when it comes to relationships and living single. I transitioned and committed to coaching, and became a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index-Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). I believe you only have two choices: be a character in someone else's life story or be the star of your own, and I work with single women to confidently embrace singleness so they can leave behind the stigmas of living single, stop waiting, and live happily ever after now.
