About Anastasia Piatakhina Gire
Anastasia Piatakhina Giré practices Integrative psychotherapy in Paris, but also online: www.expatstherapy.com
She holds the European Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy.
As a writer, she has been writing scenarios since 2006 for television and cinema, she always felt deeply interested in people’s stories. We all have a story of our life. But did we ever tell it? And once we try, does it make sense? Are some chunks missing from it? To construct the narrative of our life is to find a meaning to it. To put our memory, our emotional experience and autobiographical facts into an outline helps to understand who we really are.
Her experience of living abroad, together with her multicultural family make her particularly sensitive to the issues experienced by the persons not living in their country of origin or those that form part of a mixed couple. She practices in English, French, Russian and Italian.
She published essays about her online work in the New York Times and also writes a blog for www.psychotherapy.net, where she reflects on her online work.
