About Vidya Sury

Writer | Poet | Editor

After more than a decade in the corporate world in sales/marketing/training, Vidya took off her 4-inch heels, dumped her expensive handbags, donated her wardrobe of 300+ sarees, quit her corporate career, and got married to her soulmate. Then she became a mom. She didn’t fancy having a boss, so she decided to work from home.

She blogs and writes content for businesses and edits manuscripts for authors/publishers.

To keep her creative muscles flexed, she manages six blogs of her own, where she enjoys writing about self-improvement, mindfulness, parenting, travel, health and wellness, diabetes, food, and books. More about her here

She loves coffee and is passionate about photography, travel, cooking, and music.

On really busy days, her free time is restricted to playing with her dust bunnies and showing her diabetes who’s boss.

Her mission in life is to improve the lives of underprivileged children. Her blogging income and a portion of her writing income are dedicated to supporting welfare homes, Schools for the Blind, and Homes for the Aged.
