Some people just can't catch a break no matter what they do. And Michael Miller is one such person. When he was a toddler, he was severely disfigured after a horrible house fire that killed his cousin.  Now, he's being accused of murder. Who is Michael Miller, and what is really going on with this guy?

1. The original fire happened in 2003.

According to The New York Post, the house fire that disfigured Michael Miller took place in 2003. At the time, he was only 3 years old. Also, at the time of the fire, his 4-year-old cousin was killed, as well. 

2. Michael Miller started the fire. 

"The Review-Journal reported on an apartment fire in July 2003 that left then-3-year-old Michael Miller severely burned and killed a 4-year-old girl. The Las Vegas Fire Department said at the time that the fire had been accidentally sparked by kids playing with a cigarette lighter," reported The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

3. Police found the body of his alleged victim in the desert. 

According to a different report for The Las Vegas Review-Journal, Michael Miller's alleged victim was found in a sleeping bag on Route 147, located in the desert just outside of the city of Las Vegas. Originally, police didn't know who the victim was, or how he got there.

4. The victim's name is Raul Salazar. 

"Personnel with Red Rock Search and Rescue found the body of Raul Salazar on Friday near State Route 147, which runs from the northeast valley into the desert toward Lake Mead, police said. Crews searching for a missing person stumbled upon the body, police said. The victim, a 47-year-old Las Vegas man died from multiple gunshot wounds, the Clark County Coroner's Office said," reported The Las Vegas Sun.

5. Michael Miller is due in court. 

According to Fox 5 Las Vegas, Michael Miller was scheduled to appear in court on September 27th, 2019, to answer for his charges. 

6. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in jail. 

According to The Daily Mail, if Michael Miller is convicted of the charges against him, he could spend the rest of his life in jail.  It should be interesting to see what ends up happening with this case, which is tragic on so many levels.
