The current administration has had quite the number of shake-ups since Trump took office. In fact, you can’t even count on both hands how many people have been fired! Reince Priebus, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, Sean Spicer — these are just a fraction of the individuals who were let go.

But perhaps the most memorable of all was Anthony Scaramucci, who served as the White House Director of Communications for a whopping 10 days, from July 21 to July 31, 2017. Before even being sworn in, he gave an interview to The New Yorker, where he made derogatory statements about members of the Trump administration. And a short time later, he was fired by the president on recommendation from White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly.

Who is Anthony Scaramucci’s wife? While Deidre Ball has mostly remained out of the spotlight during her husband’s business ventures and brief involvement in the Trump administration, there are new rumors swirling she's the newest cast member on the Real Housewives of New York City! Here are a few things to know about Mrs. Mooch.

1. They met at work.

In 2007, Dierdre Ball was working as an assistant at Skybridge Capital, Scaramucci’s hedge fund. They began dating in 2011 and married in 2014.

2. She’s his second wife.

Scaramucci was married to Lisa Miranda until 2011, when they separated after 23 years of marriage. Shortly after his divorce, he and Ball began dating. But Scaramucci is also Ball’s second husband; she was married to Anthony Portelli until they divorced in 2011 as well.

3. They have two kids.

Though Scaramucci has three children from his first marriage, he has two sons with Ball: Nicholas and James.

4. They briefly separated.

In 2017, when Ball was eight months pregnant with their second child, she filed for divorce.

According to a source for Page Six, “Deidre has left him and has filed for divorce. She liked the nice Wall Street life and their home on Long Island, not the insane world of D.C. She is tired of his naked ambition, which is so enormous that it left her at her wits’ end. She has left him even though they have two children together.”

However, in November 2017, she dropped the divorce case and the two eventually worked out their marital issues.

On their podcast, Mooch and the Mrs., which the couple started in September 2018, they discuss their personal issues, how they manage their relationship, and their lives outside of politics.

5. She’s rumored to be on Real Housewives.

A source for Page Six revealed that Ball is, in fact, going to be a cast member, after issues with current castmates Luann de Lesseps and Tinsley Mortimer. “Scaramucci’s wife is doing the ‘Housewives.’ They’ve been wanting new blood and have been striking out with new cast members. She’s been meeting with Bravo... It’s reality TV gold. I’d love to have her on,” the source said. With de Lesseps asking for a salary raise and Mortimer not making much of an impact, Ball’s addition could add something new.

Said the source, “No one knows [Tinsley] and it’s like starting all over every season... How many seasons can they sit around talking about her dating or not dating [sometimes-boyfriend] Scott [Kluth]?” Another source also revealed that new cast member, Barbara Kovovit, isn’t returning, saying, “She’s out. She didn’t become a part of the ensemble.”

And in a June 11th episode of their podcast, Ball and Scaramucci addressed the rumors that Ball is slated to appear on the reality television show.

“I can’t really get into too much detail but I’d love to do the show if they really wanted me to do the show. Right now, we’re sitting here waiting, and I’ll let you guys know,” Ball said. Scaramucci then replied, “I’m totally fine with it. Whatever you want to do, I think you’d have a lot of fun.”

The Mooch also added that he hoped his former involvement with the White House wouldn’t affect her time on the show:

“I just hope that my Trump affiliation, to be totally candid — because I know a lot of people in Hollywood dislike the Orange Man — I hope the Cheetos stains on my hands are not on your hands. You have something different. You have a translucency to your personality. You’re totally comfortable and you don’t try to hide s***. I think it’s really impressive. It’s a perverse sign of wacko major security.”
