Mark Cuban is known for his appearances on Shark Tank but more importantly, for his philanthropy. Oh, and did we mention he’s also a self-made billionaire? Talk about knowing the value of a dollar. Cuban began his career as a bartender and slowly worked his way up in the world, starting his own technology company, and eventually becoming wealthy from investments. He also owns the Dallas Mavericks!

But life isn’t all about money for Cuban as he’s proved time and time again with his down-to-earth personality. It has us wondering: just who is Mark Cuban's wife? She’s the mother of his children, but how did the two meet and what is life like living in luxury? Here are 8 things to know about Tiffany Stewart.

1. They met at the gym.

Well, that’s one place to meet your future wife. According to Forbes, the couple met in 1997 when Stewart was just 28 years old at literally the most unglamorous (and sweaty) place ever.

2. They dated for five years.

Cuban didn’t seem too keen to jump into marriage. That’s why the couple dated for so long before eventually marrying in 2002.

3. Their wedding was super low-key.

Even though Cuban is a billionaire, it doesn’t mean he has to flash his cash all the time. Stewart was also apparently very easygoing about the wedding and wasn’t a Bridezilla. They tied the knot in front of only 20 guests, which included close friends and family on a beach in Barbados.

While they originally planned to wed in Jamaica, the wedding was moved due to Tropical Storm Isidore. Event planner Russell Holloway said, “It was a very traditional, very elegant, beautiful wedding and reception.”

4. Cuban is 14 years older than her.

The age gap doesn’t seem to bother either of them, and major age differences don’t automatically mean a relationship is destined to fail. Case in point.

5. She had to adjust to his lifestyle.

Back when they first began dating, Stewart was uncomfortable with the lavish lifestyle Cuban brought her into. A 2000 New York Times article said, “Stewart still drives a Honda to her sales job at an ad agency. She does not like coming home to the chateau. They are middle-class people, she says, and the house is ‘impractical’ and she would not have bought it.” But it seems she’s adjusted just fine now.

6. They have three children.

7. They are hands-on parents.

With so much fortune and wealth, one might think the Cubans would have nannies raising their kids, but that’s not the case. “We have a nanny. Unless it’s the night of a Mavs game and Tiff and I are going to a game, then they’re out by 6 or 7 and then it’s real world. On the weekends we have someone in the morning so Tiff and I go workout Saturday mornings. Then the rest of the weekend it’s just us. It’s us putting them to bed. It’s us at dinner. We try to be as normal as possible,” Cuban said.

And with all their family’s wealth, Cuban and Stewart make sure their kids don’t turn into brats and have not spoiled them: “I’m not the dad that comes home with a ton of presents. I am the dad that says, ‘Pick that up. Take that; put it in the sink. No, you have to earn that.’ I want them to recognize that the only thing special about themselves is what they make for themselves.”

8. They live in Dallas.

The Cuban family lives in a 24,000-square-foot (!!!) mansion in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas. The house is a ten-bedroom home with a spa, sauna, pool, and five wet bars. However, the couple didn’t furnish some of the house for years and instead used it to rollerblade and play wiffle ball. Because why use your yard when you have a perfectly good unfurnished mega-mansion?
