Who Is Garrett Yrigoyen? New Details About The Man Who's Rumored To Be The Bachelorette Winner

ABC Becca Kufrin had quite the unlucky past on her seasons of The Bachelor. Who could forget the incredibly awkward breakup between herself and Arie Luyendyk? The world watched as she was completely blindsided and heartbroken by the man who's now planning a wedding with Lauren Burnham. But no matter! Becca is back, looking better than ever, and ready to try again for love as the new Bachelorette! She recently confirmed she's engaged (yay!) and it's been reported she may have found true love with contestant Garrett Yrigoyen.
So who is Garret Yrigoyen? The 29-year-old California native was living in Nevada before he went on the show. He is an avid baseball player and fan and even played for the University of Nevada. But there's more to learn about the heartthrob who stole Becca's heart and is rumored to be The Bachelorette winner. Let's investigate:
1. He's very outdoorsy.
He enjoys sports, swimming, wakeboarding, fishing, shooting, snowboarding, and traveling. He has played baseball all through high school and college.
2. He was previously married.
Though it's not clear why his last marriage ended, court documents show Garrett's first marriage lasted just six months. Garrett and his then-wife Kayla Cunningham filed for a divorce in 2016 and his separation will likely be a storyline in the new season of The Bachelorette.
3. He made a great first impression on Becca.
"He made a very good first impression. He has a lot in common with Becca, She is kind of goofy and funny in a nerdy kind of way, and so is Garrett. They really get along well from the beginning.Garrett is that guy that always makes it about Becca. He always puts her at ease," the show's host revealed. "So she gravitates toward him."
4. Garrett may still be jaded from his last relationship.
There's not a ton of info out about his divorce or first wife but the Bachelorette contestant might still be dealing with past wounds. "There's a little backstory to Garrett. He's heartbroken, and it wasn't that long ago," Chris Harrison, the show's host disclosed.

Spoiler alert! A hometown date means that Yrigoyen at least made it to the final four. Pictures have surfaced of the pair holding hands and walking around his hometown of Manteca, CA where Kufrin met his family. The pair visited the museum there and even met the mayor.
6. This season of the Bachelorette will not be short on drama.
Garrett's divorce will likely be a focal point but it's rumored there will also be plenty of other drama-filled moments with other contestants including Colton Underwood and Clay Harbor. Two injuries occur that will land one contestant in the hospital and out of the house.
7. The pair may be engaged.
"It was the happiest moment of my life,” Becca told People of her engagement. “And it feels so good to say it. I still pinch myself, like, did that all just happen? It’s been a whirlwind.”
