Earlier this week, rumors circulated that Jamie Dornan isn't necessarily excited to come back for another Fifty Shades Of Grey. His people made an official announcement saying that he's excited about the series and willing to return for a potential sequel. That hasn't stopped the rumors that he's leaving the series, because the rumors are more interesting than the actual movie itself. The rumors say that Dornan wasn't thrilled with the movie, and neither was his wife.
Now, there might not even be a sequel. Sure, the movie did great it's opening weekend. Then it basically did no more business at all. It had one week in theaters before people were done with it. Still, it did pretty well within that one week, so there might still be hope for the sequel. Also, Dornan is probably under contract to do the sequels anyway should they get greenlit — which is still pretty murky, considering EL James wants more control over the script and her writing is the worst thing since ISIS.
Still, it's best to prepare. Dornan may need to be replaced. Which is fine, because he's totally replaceable.
