About Beth O'Brien

I am  Licensed Psychologist and Couples Counselor with over 25 years' of professional counseling experience. I obtained my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Marland, and I have trained and received designation as a PACT Level 3 Couples Counselor. My speciality areas are premarital counseling, marriage counseling for couples in committed relationships, and individual counseling for clients who have relationships concerns.   My work with couples is attachment based, assisting couples in building trust and creating a secure, satisfying relationship.  My counseling approach is active and warm, and based on using best counseling practices.

Couples seek my services to help with better communication, creating physical and/or emotional closeness, resolving conflict, dealing with infidelity/affairs, managing blended family dynamics, and revitalizing long-term partnerships. I assist in leading couple retreats, train new couples therapists, and I have written many articles on couple relationships.

I value my work with clients and strive to provide a safe and nurturing space for healing and growth. Feel free to reach out to me with questions or to schedule a FREE consultation in person or by phone.
