While Kylie Jenner and rapper Drake have been friends for a while, fans are abuzz that they're potentially taking their relationship to another level. Are Kylie Jenner and Drake dating?
A source seems to think so! “[They] have been spending time together recently. They’ve been friends for a long time and Drake is very close to the family," they said. What we do know from paparazzi photos, however, is that the two have been hanging out a lot recently, especially after her split from ex and baby daddy Travis Scott.
Luckily for you, we've got all the details about their secret relationship and whether or not it's all in an effort to win her ex back.
1. Are Kylie Jenner and Drake dating? Jenner was at Drake's birthday party.
In October, Jenner attended the rapper's 33rd birthday party and, according to eyewitnesses, were close to each other all night.
“Kylie was rapping to songs and dancing with her friends while she was next to Drake, but they weren’t dancing together. They seemed to have a connection." Drake performed at Jenner's Sweet 16 party in 2013, and planted a kiss on the self-made billionaire's cheek.
2. He showed up to her Halloween party.
Drake was at Jenner's Halloween party until the wee hours of the morning. But he's been attending the famous family's celebrations for years! He attended the family's Christmas party in 2015, and was out and about celebrating New Year's Eve with Kendall Jenner in 2018.
3. Jenner's main priority is Stormi.
Since she split from baby daddy Travis Scott at the end of September, she has maintained that her main priority is her 21-month-old daughter, Stormi.
“Kylie and Travis’s number one priority is a healthy co-parenting relationship," a source revealed. "They have been hanging out a lot because they still want to make memories as a family. Kylie would never want to keep Stormi from her dad and knows it’s so important for her to have both parents’ involvement in her life.”
4. Drake has history with Jenner's ex, Tyga.
Tyga and Jenner dated from 2014-2017, and their relationship made headlines due to their age difference. Just a few years later, Tyga's ex, Blac Chyna, made her way into the Kardashian/Jenner family after having a child with Kylie's older brother, Rob Kardashian.
But Drake has beefed with Tyga in the past while he was dating Kylie. Back in 2014, the two had a very public feud on social media, as one does these days. It escalated to a point where Drake threw Kylie a bit under the bus when he posted a photo of her in his studio in November 2014.
Then, in February 2015, he released a surprise album with a track titled “6 PM in New York.” The song called out Tyga and his relationship with Kylie in the lyrics: “I heard a little little homie talking reckless in VIBE / That’s quite a platform you chose, you should’ve kept it inside / Oh, you tried / It’s so childish calling my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.”
5. Her link to Drake may be a call for attention.
Despite what we may want to believe, a source claims that Jenner and Drake aren’t dating.
They said, “Kylie doesn’t seem to be dating. She sees Drake occasionally, but it doesn’t seem serious. She could be doing it just to make Travis jealous. She still sees Travis and they spend time together with Stormi. It seems to be more of a friendship.”
6. They were recently spotted together at Jenner's friend Victoria's birthday party.
The are-they-aren't-they couple made sure not to be photographed coming in SHOREbar in Santa Monica together on March 5th — and they left the party separately — but that didn't stop eagle-eyed fans from noticing that the rumored couple was, in fact, at the same bar at the same time. However, there's still rumros that Jenner and her ex Scott are trying to work things out for their daughter, with a source saying they're "still figuring things out between them."
