Even though it's easy to despise her, one has to wonder why Single Ladies co-stars LisaRaye McCoy and Stacey Dash are feuding. The beef has been going on for so long that, when LisaRaye McCoy explained why she G-checked the former Fox News commentator, it became a Twitter trending topic and the Internet exploded in joy. So what's going on with the Lisa Raye/Stacey Dash feud?

In its prime, Single Ladies was one of the most popular shows on television. Beginning in 2011, the show followed the lives of three women and their trials, travails and relationships. Originally airing on VH1, Single Ladies got canceled from that network in 2014 due to low ratings. BET, however, picked up the fourth season, and the fifth and final season aired on Centric in 2015.

However, Stacey Dash went off the show after its first season, and fans of the show always wondered why.

Now, however, LisaRaye McCoy revealed what happened...and it's at the heart of the LisaRaye McCoy/Stacey Dash feud.

1. LisaRaye McCoy said she had to go "Southside Chicago" on Stacey Dash.

In a recent episode of Uncensored, LisaRaye McCoy — who spoke to the outlet, exclusively — said that she had to go "Southside Chicago" on Stacey Dash when Dash put her finger in her face. "Stacey [Dash] auditioned for Single Ladies. Something took a turn one night when we were filming and she put her finger up in my face and she said, 'You don't tell me anything!' Every bit of Southside Chicago was brewing up in here."

You can see the clip below.

2. LisaRaye McCoy told Stacey Dash to "get up out my face."

In the same clip, which you can see above, LisaRaye McCoy simply told Stacey Dash to "get up out my face" before walking away from her. Ultimately, that was one of the last times they would speak to one another in any capacity.

3. Initially, Lisa Rae McCoy tried to downplay a beef with Stacey Dash.

In a 2012 interview with Jet (which is now, sadly, out of print), Lisa Rae McCoy took a much gentler approach to her issues with Stacey Dash. "Believe me I wish things had worked out because I thought Stacey and I were great together. She was my age and we were working it.  It was sex-symbol to sex-symbol. But she didn't want to be there. I was disappointed about that. She had some issues. I'm not sure exactly what those issues were. In the end, she and VH1 made a decision," she said to the outlet at the time.

4. But now, all bets are off.

According to Deadline, LisaRaye McCoy is no longer holding back her true feelings about Stacey Dash. In fact, she strongly implied, but didn't outright state, that the reason Stacey Dash didn't return after one season was because LisaRaye McCoy got her fired for her bad attitude!

5. Did LisaRaye McCoy almost slap Stacey Dash?

"Irascible actress LisaRaye has long had the reputation of being quick to introduce folks to her hand. And to that point, during the taping of the now-defunct BET series Single Ladies, LisaRaye McCoy, 50, recalls for TV One’s Uncensored when she allegedly came within inches of slapping the skin off the face of fellow thespian Stacey Dash," reported Rolling Out, hilariously
