Fans of Bravo go crazy for the drama. Whether it’s the cat fights, trash talking behind each other’s backs, or flipping tables at a fancy restaurant, the ladies in the Real Housewives franchises are no strangers to stirring the pot. And perhaps one of the biggest drama queens is Kenya Moore.

Moore appeared on the Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2012 to 2018, and returned in the 2019 season. Before the show, she was the 1993 winner of Miss USA, landed in the top six for Miss Universe, and had a few acting roles in Waiting To Exhale and Deliver Us From Eva.

And now, her past is in the media once again. But this time, it’s for something completely unrelated to her on-screen appearances. Who is Matt Jordan?

Fans of the show may remember him as Moore’s then-boyfriend who started a brawl with Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband. Jordan claimed Thomas had a weapon on him, believed to be a boxcutter or knife.

That same year, in 2017, Moore filed a restraining order against Jordan, claiming he was harassing her, threatening her, and calling her phone up to 30 times a day.

What prompted the restraining order? In August 2016, Moore accused Jordan of destroying her home, dubbed “Moore Manor,” breaking her glass garage door, Range Rover, and outdoor security cameras.

According to an officer, “Kenya advised she could not see out of some of the [security] cameras. Four of the cameras had obviously been spray painted with a black substance. A ladder was still propped against the residence under two of the lower cameras that has been spray painted with obvious overspray on the side of the wall.” Moore also claimed Jordan texted that she’d “regret it” if she called police.

Back in July of this year, Jordan was arrested for theft, threatening and intimidating, and aggravated assault against his girlfriend, Valerie Bell. Said the complaint, Jordan allegedly “punched with a closed fist, one time to the facial area. Injuries observed were to the bridge of her nose, bruising, redness and swelling.”

A witness also claims they saw Jordan snatch a single cigarette out of Bell’s mouth and then tried to throw her pack onto the roof of the Denny’s. The witness noted blood on Bell’s dress. Though Jordan fled the scene, he later attempted to enter Bell's home and she reported him. Jordan then entered a treatment facility.

And now, Jordan is being charged with three counts for that alleged altercation in the Denny's parking lot.

TMZ, who first broke the story, revealed that Jordan has been charged on one misdemeanor count of assault, and two counts for disorderly conduct. He could face up to six months in jail for each charge.

This comes a few months after a warrant was issues for his arrest. According to a clerk, who spoke to Radar, “He missed his September 10 court hearing for criminal trespassing.” The warrant was issued in June with a bond of $250 for failing to appear in court for the charges related to damaging Moore’s property.

Moore hasn’t spoken out about the arrest or her ex-boyfriend, but she’s in the process of divorcing her husband, Marc Daily, with whom she has a daughter, Brooklyn.
