It seems like nothing in Hollywood lasts forever. Relationships fall apart faster than a Nature Valley granola bar, so it’s no wonder fans hold their breath when a couple first gets together. And though couples like Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar, as well as Beyoncé and Jay-Z (that cheating scandal didn’t end her marriage!), will probably be together forever, not everyone is so lucky.
Is there another couple joining Adele, Michelle Williams, and Wendy Williams in splitsville? Are Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk separating? The two have been dating since 2015, and share a daughter together, Lea, who was born in 2017.
According to multiple sources, the two are on the rocks and have been for some time. “Things are not good. Neither one is happy. The relationship is hanging by a thread,” one anonymous source revealed to Page Six. It looks like they are trying to make things work for the sake of their daughter.
But this isn’t the first time rumors have swirled about a breakup. Back in October, it was reported that the couple wasn’t getting along. Page Six reported, “They are miserable together. They have been for months. He doesn’t drink and is into spirituality. She wants to go out.” The couple were also seen out together at dinner and a source said, “They were not looking happy...they barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal.”
And there's the pesky Gaga rumors. For months, we heard rumors Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga had fallen in love on the set of A Star Is Born. Not only did the two give us the performances of a lifetime in the film, but they seemed awfully close when they performed “Shallow” at the Oscars.
Could this be the reason the two are allegedly calling it quits? Don’t hold your breath.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in February, Lady Gaga discussed her connection with Cooper, saying, “People saw love and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see... Look, I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”
Cooper also hasn’t spent any time with his former on-screen love interest since their duet. A source told People Magazine, “It seems Bradley hasn’t spent any time with Lady Gaga. He has been all about his family.”
We hope that even though rumors say the two are on the rocks, they can repair their relationship and stay together.
