If you’ve ever watched TLC, you’re probably familiar with the show 90 Day Fiancé. The series follows couples who have 90 days to decide if they want to get married, while anticipating the expiration of their K-1 visas, and if they must leave the United States.
But while we watch the drama unfold while they weigh their options, the real tea comes after the cameras stop rolling.
And for the couple Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett, there’s a huge cheating scandal that has swept through their marriage. The two originally met in the Dominican Republic and are slated to appear on a new show called Happily Ever After, where viewers will take a look into their relationship and see if they are actually happy together.
But this cheating scandal is shaking things up, and there’s one mystery woman we’re curious about. Who is Coraima on 90 Day Fiancé?
Last week, Pedro’s sister, Nicole Jimeno, shared a photo with her and Coraima, captioning it “my sister.” Now, this would be totally cute and a great expression of friendship and bonding... except Coraima is the woman involved in Pedro’s cheating scandal!
On a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Pedro returned home to Dominican Republic. While there, he spent a night out with his friends, had 10 shots of alcohol, and then proceeded to take his wedding ring off and dance with Coraima.
“Chantel going to kill me. I’m thinking I messed up tonight, but I had such a great time,” he said. That same night, Chantel spoke to the cameras and said, “I don’t know where he is or even what he’s doing and I’m worried.”
But does that mean that he actually cheated? Well, Coraima was certainly excited about the time they spent together, and revealed how she felt towards her long-time friend.
“I think, between Pedro and I, there was a connection. It’s something that he hasn’t felt in a while because of problems he’s had with his wife. I think he should find a woman like me. A Dominican that understands him and accepts him how he is,” she said.
It appears that Pedro’s family isn’t too keen on Chantel, and Nicole has even put her sister-in-law on blast. On May 22nd, she posted a story on her Instagram that said, “If you are talking behind my back, then you are in a perfect position to kiss my ass!” Chantel shot back, “I don’t hate you because your [sic] my sister-in-law. I hate you because when you open your mouth, you sound like a f***ing idiot!” Nicole also stated that she thought her brother and Chantel should get a divorce.
But there’s more to that night in Dominican Republic because Pedro went out with Nicole and her friends, and she then announced that her brother was single for the night. Pedro also got a lap dance from Coraima, said the two had a thing, and that she was looking good. And that’s not all.
Pedro purposely planned this trip without wanting Chantel to come with him. According to Newsweek, when Chantel found out about the dancing and Pedro ignoring her calls, she said, “I can’t believe you’re gonna embarrass me like that. You wanna play games with me?” Chantel thought about flying out to the Dominican Republic to save her marriage, but eventually decided not to.
The couple seems to be on the rocks, but we’ll be able to see it all play out on their new spin-off reality show called The Family Chantel.
