Whether you’re trying to change yourself or embrace your new surroundings, change takes time to get used to.
Fearing unknown situations and circumstances while wanting things to return to how they used to be is normal. No one can immediately be accepting of big shifts, but some of us take a lot longer to accept transitions than others.
According to astrology, your zodiac sign could play a MAJOR role in your ability to adapt to new situations and how to handle the unknown.
It’s important that we recognize when we need to embrace change and what may be stopping us from doing so.
Because change is a necessary part of life, you must learn how to manage your fear of change (at least, to an extent).
If you’re one of these four zodiac signs who can’t stand change, try exposing yourself to more changes in life and practice overcoming them slowly.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Sometimes, it’s impossible to explain why Taurus hate change. These bulls are stubborn, and change just isn’t part of their plan.
As responsible beings, they need to be able to manage every detail of their lives. If complications arise, forget having a reasonable conversation with a Taurus about how to deal with sudden issues; all they can really do in the moment is panic and stress.
It’s not entirely their fault, though. They were born bulls, and the world knows you need to take the bull by the horns to conquer difficult situations.
Facing bull head-on and begging it to stop, calm down and breathe is a sport for a reason. Taurus are need to be introduced to change slowly or else their stable nature is compromised.
LEO (July 23-August 22)
It’s not always that Leos can’t stand change; it’s that they can’t always face reality. Still, this causes sudden changes to be devastating to the lions. While they love solving problems and thinking things through, Leos don’t know how to handle themselves if a problem remains unsolved – if what they think is real is changing.
This isn’t to say that Leos have to face this kind of change often as they take the lead in many situations, but their inflexibility can be their downfall. They’ll use humor and other escapist methods to try and alleviate the situation, but, deep down, they’re trying to rationalize the change away.
LIBRA (September 23-October 22)
Change is especially disruptive for Libras because they cannot stand confrontations or injustice. If the situation has changed for the worst, they may choose to wallow in self-pity instead of trying to change the situation for the better.
However, they are likely to respond well to others taking charge of or responsibility for the change. For instance, they may listen to people trying to explain the change to them.
Libra’s symbol is the scales for a reason, and anything that tips the scale in either direction is not right. It’s unjust.
Change is certainly one of those things. If they don’t know how change will affect them and the people they care about, then they perceive the change as a threat.
AQUARIUS (January 20-February 18)
As the activists of the zodiac, it seems odd that Aquarius would despise change.
But if change happens that they do not agree with or that contradicts their progressionist views, then they will become even more grounded in their beliefs. They’re true independents, intellectuals who want change only when it benefits them or reaffirms their opinions.
Still, a part of an Aquarius is always hopeful for the future and can understand that change needs to happen in various ways to make room for progress. When informing an Aquarius about change, be sure to mention the positive aspects of the change first.
