4. His wife Milano has been in the news a lot recently

Milano has received plenty of news coverage between March and April.

At the beginning of March, she was the topic of conversation after she posted a tweet saying "I'm trans. I'm a person of color. I'm an immigrant. I'm a lesbian. I'm a gay man. I'm the disabled. I'm everything. And so are you, Kirk. Don't be afraid of what you don't know or understand. No one wants to hurt you. We are all just looking for our happily ever after."

According to ... Milano received heavy criticism from users since she is not a minority. Milano claimed the tweet was not meant to offend anyone but to raise awareness to the social injustices of today's world. However, she did apologize for the tweet.

Milano was again mentioned in the news after she publicly defended Joe Biden who was recently accused by seven different women of inappropriate touching and unwanted physical contact. While Milano told Insider that she believed the seven women, she went on to say there has to rehabilitate the men accused of these behaviors in the #MeToomovement

"I think realistically, we can't just cast aside or throw away good men for not knowing how to behave right now in this time," she said. "And if they come forward and say, 'I'm willing to learn,' then I think it's our responsibility to teach them," she said.

Once again, she received backlash on Twitter.

In her fight for women, Milano was also found protesting against a Georgia abortion ban. According to Fox News, the actress was not able to persuade Gov. Brian Kemp to veto the ban.

She was also recently recognized for her work with abuse survivors as she accepted the Voice of Empowerment Award at the 24th Annual Safe Horizon Champion Awards Gala.
