The Latest On The Spencer Pratt And Stephanie Pratt Feud

It should come as no surprise that the stars of The Hills — one of the most dramatic of all dramatic reality shows — go through periods where they absolutely hate each other. And, like good reality stars, they take their drama to the press, where we can all take turns sharing our opinions about their petty feuds.

The latest Hills feud features Stephanie Pratt and her brother, Spencer, who are currently at war with each other. Stephanie recently took to the blog-osphere to share her thoughts about both her brother and her sister-in-law, Heidi Montag-Pratt. Suffice it to say, she isn’t exactly the president of the Speidi Fan Club.

Let’s look at what these two are fighting about these days.

Spencer Pratt and Stephanie Pratt were close growing up.

Stephanie Pratt first came onto the reality scene in 2007, when she made her first-ever appearance on MTV’s The Hills. According to E! News, her first-ever words on-screen were said to Audrina Patridge, where she introduced herself by saying, “Hi, my name's Stephanie Pratt, and I just want you to know that you're a f***in’ bitch, and you and Lauren are done." Basically, Stephanie’s beef with Audrina was that Stephanie was #TeamSpeidi, and Audrina was decidedly not.

And because Stephanie was always close with her older brother, she felt the need to take up for him. “I always just thought he was so cool, so much fun, even if he was playing pranks on me...It was nonstop shenanigans, nonstop winding my parents up and it was always the best fun to be on his side watching the mayhem take place,” she said.

2. Stephanie originally said The Hills reboot “healed” her relationship with Spencer.

Spencer and Stephanie needed to heal their relationship.

According to TooFab, when the original The Hills series ended in 2010, Stephanie and Spencer’s relationship was “in shambles.” However, Stephanie Pratt told the outlet that when they were shooting The Hills: New Beginnings, their relationship went on the mend.

“I live in London. I've come back for 'The Hills' and it's kind of just re-introducing us to each other and the world. We've lived such different lives, and we left 'The Hills' very broken,” she said, adding that she was so concerned about what the reboot would do to her relationship with her beloved brother, she almost didn’t participate.

3. Stephanie is giving behind-the-scenes scoops on Spencer Pratt and other The Hills cast members on her podcast.

Stephanie Pratt has her own podcast on iHeartRadio.

Getting your own podcast is the 21st-century version of starting your own band. So, not to be outdone, Stephanie Pratt joined forces with former Bachelor star Wells Adams to create the Pratt Cast, a podcast where Stephanie dishes the dirt on The Hills cast members and other gossip. The podcast, which is available through iHeartRadio, was very “difficult” for the reality star.

It was so difficult, in fact, that Adams told Fox News that the show was more of a “therapy” session for his co-host than anything else. “There’s a million Bachelor podcasts where people can go on and kind of clear the air... It gives them a mouthpiece to kind of defend themselves, and I think that this show needs that as well. I think it’ll probably be therapeutic for Steph, especially, and then probably everyone else who joins the show and kind of gets to say their piece,” he said.

Heidi Montag-Pratt is known for being a drama queen.

The trouble between Stephanie Pratt and Spencer Pratt began anew thanks to Spencer’s long-time wife, reality TV villainess Heidi Montag-Pratt. While Stephanie and Heidi initially got along – with Stephanie calling Heidi “the sweetest girl” she’d ever met – the two seem to have fallen out. The falling out, according to People Magazine, has to do with a bottle of champagne. (Yes, it’s that petty.)

“We had our photo shoots for press and for the opening titles. We had three days of it that went to like 3 a.m. — they were long shoots. And Heidi had a bottle of champagne that she gave all the girls except for me,” Stephanie told the outlet.

5. Stephanie said that Spencer and Heidi are “dead to her.”

Stephanie Pratt no longer sees her nephew, Gunner.

So much for the “healing” of their relationship — Stephanie Pratt recently told Us Weekly that Spencer and Heidi are “dead to her.” Their relationship is so strained, in fact, that Stephanie alleges that even the Pratt parental units want nothing to do with the infamous reality couple.

“No one knows the real Heidi. Before the new Hills, the Beginnings, my mom, my brother and I all sat down and we said, ‘We will not let this ruin our family again,’” she said, adding that Spencer and Heidi were “the most toxic people she’d ever met,” and part of the reason why she’d moved to London, rather than stay in Orange County.

Whatever the truth of the matter, Stephanie Pratt and Spencer Pratt are still siblings, and we sincerely hope that these once-close siblings can sort out their differences.
