What makes you happy? If you don't know, pay attention to how your heart feels when doing something. If it beats faster or you feel it fill with joy, that's a sign that you are doing something good and right for you.
When I think about what makes my heart beat, I think about what excites me or what makes me happy. Quite a few things fall under this category. Dancing is one thing that makes my heart beat. I love hearing the sound of a great beat and either choreographing or learning a dance to it.
There is no greater way to get my heart racing than to know that I am mastering a skill and getting a good workout at the same time. In terms of people, my boyfriend makes my heart beat. When he looks at me or kisses me my heart instantly starts to race.
I feel loved and desired. These are all things that I noticed over time, but I’ve found that there are other ways to know what makes you happy or that bring joy. Take astrology. Astrology is the study of how celestial bodies impact our lives. This could include everything from our personality, our likes and dislikes, and our strengths and weaknesses.
All of these things can be used to find life's thrills and to determine one’s life purpose which can allow a person to engage with people and in activities that make their heart beat in a positive way. While you can just be self-aware like I often am, you can learn a lot about yourself.
