Pete Davidson is certainly getting around post-breakup with Ariana Grande. He's been spotted out and about a number of times with the much older Kate Beckinsale, prompting rumors of a relationship between them. Now he was seen out with his ex-girlfriend Carly Aquilino. The 25-year-old was hanging out with the 28-year-old Girl Code star at The Paramount in Huntington, New York. Pete's photographer, Marcus Russell Price shared an Instagram story of the former couple. Reportedly, Pete and Carly both performed at an event at The Paramount on the night in question. Are Pete Davidson and Carly Aquilino dating?
1. Their past
Pete Davidson and Carly Aquilino dated in 2015 before Davidson started his 2016 to 2018 on again/off again relationship with Cazzie David. Reportedly Carly, who is also a comedian, opened up for Pete's set at a gig over the long President's Day weekend.
2. What about Kate?
Sources close to Pete are reporting that despite being spotted out and about with his ex Carly, he only has eyes for his 45-year-old rumored girlfriend Kate Beckinsale. Pete and Kate first made headlines when they were spotted at a Golden Globes afterparty together in January. Neither has addressed the rumors that they are involved, however, they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles in early February. The source said "She makes him laugh. He thinks she's great and really smart. They have an incredible physical connection. Kate has really helped Pete get over his breakup with Ariana Grande. It is still early days, and right now they're just having fun," the souce told In Touch. On Kate's side of things, a source close to her told E! that she "has spent some time with him and thinks he's very funny and charming."
3. Getting over Ariana
Well, you know the old adage that the best way to get over someone is to... Anyway, Pete Davidson appears to be playing the field and doing a remarkably good job at that since Ariana Grande broke off their engagement after five months together. It never hurts to have a healthy relationship with your ex, as he and Carly Aquilino appear to have and Kate Beckinsale is one of the most gorgeous women in the world. Good on you, Pete!
4. Too fast
Pete and Ariana's relationship was doomed from the start because they simply moved too fast. It took the two just 24 days to end their respective relationships, meet, date, and get engaged. It was way too much too soon. And, of course, then Mac Miller died. Ariana dated Miller for two years before she began dating Davidson. In fact, Miller and Grande announced their breakup just a couple of days before Davidson and Grande became official and barely a month before they got engaged. Rebound much?
5. So, are Pete and Carly dating again?
All signs point to no. The source close to Pete told In Touch that Davidson only has eyes for Kate and the two are in a long-distance relationship and taking things slow. Neither minds the 20 year age difference. And, of course, neither one has either confirmed or denied their relationship.
