Who Is Tyler Stanaland? New Details About Brittany Snow's Fiancé

getty We all love a good celebrity or Hollywood romance, especially when it’s between two people who deserve happiness. And just recently, actress Brittany Snow — who you know from the Pitch Perfect movies, Hairspray, and Prom Night — said yes to the man of her dreams, Tyler Stanaland.
In a mushy post on Instagram, the actress wrote, “A couple weeks ago, I said ‘YES’ about a million times to the man of my wildest & most beautiful dreams. After celebrating with friends and family, we wanted to let a few more friends (you guys) know... this happened. I’m still pinching myself and thanking my lucky stars for the truest feeling I’ve ever felt. Thank you @tylerstanaland for the happiest day of my life & for not proposing in this creepy empty restaurant.”
How sweet is that? Could they be any cuter? The photo featured the newly engaged couple sitting in a restaurant booth and kissing, while other photos showed her gorgeous ring.
Stanaland also made a post of his own about their engagement.
“A few weeks ago, I asked @brittanysnow one of the most important questions I may ever ask. Forever? Luckily she said yes and we’ve spent the last little while celebrating the old fashioned way, together and with close friends and family. I don’t know how I got so lucky and I don’t know that I really understood what love is until you. Everything changed when we met. You are the most beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, caring, incredible human and I couldn’t be more excited to do life with you. Here’s to forever and making our wildest dreams come true. Love you to the moon and back,” he said.
But who is Tyler Stanaland?
According to his Instagram bio, he’s a realtor and a “surf nerd.” As a realtor, he sells luxury homes in Orange County, California and works for John Stanaland. Sounds like the two are related! Perhaps brothers? When he isn’t working, he clearly loves to surf and is also great at fishing.
What’s even better is that Snow and Stanaland have the same sense of humor. For Halloween, they both dressed up as puns, with Snow as Counting Crows and Stanaland as Vampire Weekend. And laughter is one of the most important foundations to have in a relationship.
Though it’s unclear how long the two have been together, Snow revealed in September 2018 that she was in love with her then-boyfriend.
“I’m very public about it for the first time in my life and that’s very strange to me. I made a conscious decision — I’m very private and I made a conscious decision to, I don’t know, be less hard on myself. I keep things very to myself because I feel like the magic gets lost if you promote it too much, but I don’t know! When you’re in love... I just don’t want to think about it too much anymore.”
And now that they are engaged, they can shout from the rooftops how in love they are with one another.
