In the Korean Pop industry, known as K-Pop, dating is discouraged, leading many artists to keeping their relationships hidden from the public. Which begs the question: Are Daisy and Yunhyeong dating?
Daisy, known for being part of the girl group Momoland, and Yunhyeong, part of the boy band iKon, have been fueling rumors for months that they are an item.
Fans are currently freaking out over rumors of the two K-pop stars starting up a romance. But what’s even more confusing is the different stories each has released to the public.
On Valentine’s Day, Sports Seoul reported that the two were in an exclusive relationship. “Song Yunhyeong and Daisy are dating. They met as a senior and junior in the industry, became friends, and started dating about three to four months ago. They enjoy going on dates whenever they have free time, just like other couples,” the publication said.
A source for the magazine said the couple don’t have much time to see each other due to their busy touring schedules but that they “cherish one another.”
iKon’s agency, YG Entertainment, said, “With interest in each other, they met up a few times, but they are not dating,” yet Daisy’s representation revealed, “After checking [with Daisy], we confirmed that they have been seeing each other for three months with interest in one another.”
So, which is it? No wonder fans have been going into a frenzy over this rumored relationship! Many of them, however, were quick to stand behind the two artists, despite the situation at hand.
Are the two actually a couple? We guess only time will tell, because the truth will always come out in the end.
