New Details About Summer Bunni, Who Claims To Be Offset's Mistress & Reason For Cardi B's Divorce Announcement

getty Music artists Cardi B and Offset have decided to end their relationship after just a year of marriage.
Cardi made the announcement herself in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Dec. 4. According to the "I Like It" rapper, the reason for the split is that they "grew out of love."
“So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now. We are really good friends and we are really good business partners — you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time. It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father."

The news of the split comes just five months after the couple welcomed the birth of their daughter, Kulture, and it has many people speculating if the reason for the breakup is more than just falling out of love.
TMZ is reporting that news of the split came shortly after text messages were leaked in which Offset was reportedly looking to set up a threesome with himself and two other women. They go on to say that Offset was texting a woman who goes by the name Summer Bunni and requested the ménage à trois with her and a female rapper named Cuban Doll.
“I want U and Cuban can U make that happen.”
The date on the texts is June 28, which means that, if true, Offset was trying to set this up just before his wife was about to give birth. The entertainment news site also says that the leak was orchestrated by a woman who had a falling out with Cuban Doll.
Neither Cardi B or Offset have addressed the texts, but Offset did comment on Cardi's video announcement with, "Y'all won."
This wasn't the first time the couple has dealt with cheating rumors.
According to PEOPLE, Offset was involved in a sex tape scandal back in January. Cardi confirmed the news and in a tweet, asked for privacy until she figured out what she wanted to do.
“I’m going to make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind. I don’t need to be rushed or be told what to do. It’s my life! I belong to me not the world.”
That tweet has since been deleted.
So who is Summer Bunni, the woman at the center of the Offset threesome scandal?
1. She issued an apology.
Though Cardi said no one else was at fault for the split, it looks like Summer Bunni herself may have confirmed that infidelity was indeed a factor. She posted a picture message on Wednesday — one day after Cardi's breakup announcement.
"Goodmorning, a quick letter to the fans, followers and social media outlets," she said. "During the last 48 hours, I haven't enjoyed the social media frenzy. Not only is it draining but humbling. I will always be woman enough to admit when I'm wrong, and in this situation I was. Seeing another woman's pain does not bring me joy, nor do I think it's funny. I've always been for women supporting each other but in this situation, not only myself but others have failed."
"I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason. This is not a letter for sympathy but acknowledgment to everyone who has questions. Going into 2019 focused and dedicated to becoming a better me. Thank y'all - Summer."
TMZ also shared a video of Summer apologizing for any role she had in the breakup to their website. In the video, Summer says she feels ashamed and that she hasn't messed with Offset since he had his baby.
2. She's a model.
According to Cosmopolitan, 20-year old Summer Bunni is a model. The other woman Offset was looking to have in the threesome is rapper Cuban Doll, who got her start on social media, according to Hollywood Life.
3. Summer was in a Nicki Minaj video.
Adding salt to the wound is the ironic fact that Summer appeared in a video for rapper Nicki Minaj, who Cardi has had a longtime feud with. The song is called "FEFE" and came out just under a month after the reported threesome texts.
