Who Is David Perdue's Wife? New Details On Bonnie Dunn Perdue

getty Among the Republican Senators currently serving, David Perdue is one of the most controversial. He’s been a close ally of the president since before the election and remains a huge supporter.
Perdue led a prayer at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority conference, saying, “We should pray for Barack Obama. But I think we need to be very specific about how we pray. We should pray like Psalms 109:8 says. It says, ‘Let his days be few, and let another have his office,’” not including the remainder of the Psalm that says, “Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow..."
Though he and his office deny they were prayers for death, Perdue has made his conservative ideals well-known, voting to repeal the ACA, withdraw from the Paris Agreement, opposes same-sex marriage, and was in favor of the GOP tax cuts for big businesses and corporations.
He’s served as a Senator since 2015, defeating Democratic nominee Michelle Nunn. Before becoming a Senator, he was a businessman, working with Reebok, Dollar General, and Haggar Clothing, and served as the Vice President at Sara Lee Corporation.

1. She’s from Georgia.
Both she and David grew up in Warner Robins, GA.
2. They met in first grade.
The couple met in first grade but didn’t marry until some time later. Though we aren’t sure if they had been together since elementary school or struck up a romance later, it’s pretty impressive to have known someone basically your entire life.
3. They’ve been married for 46 years.
Shortly after David graduated from Georgia Tech, the couple wed in 1972.
