Unless you’ve never once been on YouTube, chances are you’ve heard of filmmaker and vlogger Casey Neistat. But who is Candice Pool, Casey Neistat’s wife?
Neistat is known for his innovative daily YouTube videos that often cover new technology and his travels. However, the vlogger isn’t afraid to share pieces of his personal life in his videos as well, through which we’ve learned a bit about Pool and their growing family.
Neistat has kept viewers up to date on his relationship with Pool. And though some social media stars and celebrities go to great lengths to portray a perfect relationship, Neistat and Pool have been open with their struggles and how they get through them.
Here’s what we know about Candice Pool and Casey Neistat’s relationship.
1. She’s a jewelry designer
Pool is the Creative Director of Finn Jewelry. Neistat revealed in a YouTube video that her jewelry has been worn by the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Karlie Kloss. According to Neistat, at one point in Pool’s jewelry career, her partner left and the company almost failed. But instead of quitting, Pool pushed forward — and Neistat says that’s one thing he admires most about her.
2. They got married after one month of dating
In a short film posted to YouTube, Neistat covered he and Pool’s relationship in its early years and revealed that they first got married in a courthouse in 2005 after only seeing each other for a month. However, they had the marriage annulled one month after that and their relationship was largely on-and-off from there.
In a YouTube video, Neistat explained that in six years, the couple had broken up at least six times. “And I mean like serious breakups. Like we’re seeing other people breakups,” he said. “She’s afraid of getting close because everytime ‘I’ll always be here for you’ I’ve left,” he revealed in a scene from the short film. They eventually reconnected for good in 2011.
3. They got married again in 2013

After years of going back and forth, Neistat and Pool tied the knot (again) in 2013 in a South African wedding. "The girl is from SA, born in Cape Town. I didn't really fall in love with her until I went to SA with her 10 years ago,” Neistat told Coveteur. “She's a different person there, the real version of herself."
4. She just gave birth to their second child
Neistat told Coveteur that they got pregnant with their first child, a daughter named Frankie, on their honeymoon. Frankie was born in 2014.
In October 2018, Neistat and Pool welcomed a second daughter into the world and named her Georgie.
Georgie made her YouTube debut on Neistat’s channel just a week after she was born.
5. They have a podcast together
Neistat has mastered just about every social media channel. Now, he and Pool have joined together to take on podcasts. Called Couples Therapy, the podcast focuses on “the ups and downs of their marriage, friendship, parenting, and lives in the YouTube spotlight.”
When announcing the podcast’s launch, Neistat revealed that he wanted to provide Pool with a platform to showcase her personality outside of Neistat’s vlogs.
6. She gets a lot of hate
Unfortunately, being in the spotlight not only brings you praise, but also tons of hate in the comments and DMs. Often, partners of celebrities find themselves as targets for trolls as well. Neistat has revealed that Pool gets “anxious” about being featured in his videos, and in one of Neistat’s videos, Pool commented on the trolling, saying, “I’m tired of hearing the comments that I’m such a like bitch and a dud.”
